Musi Riverfront Development Project Gets ₹7,345 Crore Sanction

The Telangana government has sanctioned ₹7,345.12 crore for the Musi Riverfront Development Project, aimed at rejuvenating the river ecosystem and improving urban infrastructure. The project, spanning about 21 km, will be funded by a ₹4,500 crore loan from the Asian Development Bank and ₹2,845.12 crore from the state.

Telangana Government Approves Hyderabad Metro Phase I Takeover for Expansion

The Telangana Cabinet has approved the complete takeover of Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited's Phase I network from L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Limited for Rs 15,000 crore. This strategic move, expected to be completed by March 31, 2026, is crucial for securing approvals and funding for Phase II and III expansion projects as a joint venture with the Union government.
