The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) will inaugurate Metro Line 2B (Phase I) and Metro Line 9 (Phase I), and conduct the bhoomipujan for the Thane–Borivali Twin Tunnel project and the pod taxi system in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) on April 7. Mumbai Local Trains Face Cancellations for Infrastructure Upgrade

Western Railway is undertaking essential infrastructure upgrades between Kandivali and Borivali from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, leading to the daily cancellation of over 80 local trains.
