Positives: I reside in Kandivali West. Well connected through local trains and the Western Express Highway, the airport is about 15 km away. Malls such as Raghuleela Mall, decent schools and plenty of hospitals nearby. Employment with Charkop Industrial Area and flats at affordable rates. Kamala Vihar Park is convenient for walking in the evenings. Negatives: But rush-hour traffic is worst, the monsoon causes waterlogging, and some of the parks are filthy. Safety concerns such as chain snatching exist, and parking spaces are usually congested.
Positives: I like how cheap Kandivali West is and how well it's connected with the road as well as the rail. I'm safe here with good illumination and police patrolling. The place has excellent schools, hospitals, and parks. Negatives: I have observed that the parks are not very clean. There is also waterlogging during monsoons. I would like to see improved public transport.
Positives: I enjoy staying in this area because of local trains, and Western Express Highway facilitate commuting. Moreover, the airport is roughly 15 km away, real estate is more economical, and schools, hospitals and malls such as Raghuleela are nearby. Negatives: Monsoon waterlogging and traffic jams hold me up, parks may be dirty, and chain-snatching reports keep me on guard during the night.
