I stayed for a short time in Kandivali West and found the surroundings friendly and useful. Daily commute was made simple by Kandivali station's local trains. Commutes were reduced by roads like Link Road and the Western Express Highway. Weekend strolls nearby Sanjay Gandhi National Park and little local parks appealed to me. With malls, markets, and local stores close at hand, shopping was easy. Good schools, restaurants, and friendly nearby vendors made life really pleasant. Accessible were Kandivali and nearby Goregaon offices and commercial hubs. Close by several multispeciality hospitals and clinics ensured dependable healthcare. The area struck me as grounded and secure. The fast fusion of city convenience and natural surroundings was my best feature. Parking and traffic management during peak hours required some work.
Kandivali West is a lovely, seasoned area with a real community feel not found everywhere in Mumbai. Excellent safety precautions including police patrols and bright street illumination have me very comfortable. The fantastic shopping and entertainment access, especially near Mahavir Nagar and Raghuleela Mall, where everything is only minutes away, is my favorite feature. For daily travels, the linking through S.V. Road, Link Road, and Kandivali station is excellent. Filled with excellent hospitals and schools, the neighborhood is quite family-friendly. But the heavy traffic congestion at major intersections during rush hour, which can impede all else, absolutely begs consideration. I highly recommended this area to living.
Kandivali West,For customers looking for a mix of reasonable price and great quality of life in Mumbai's Western Suburbs, Kandivali West is an ideal choice. Its major benefit is the flawless connectivity provided by the Western Express Highway and the main train station, therefore connecting locals quickly to business centers like BKC and Goregaon. With ongoing infrastructure development, the area is future-ready and provides a high rental yield fueled by its close proximity to Charkop Industrial Area and many employment sectors. Major retail complexes like Raghuleela and prestigious institutions like the Kapol Vidyanidhi School provide locals with easy access. Public green areas, especially neighborhood parks, need more maintenance and cleanliness to boost general community amenity. Investing here guarantees a significant year-on--year real estate appreciation.
Positive: Kandivali West presents the ideal Mumbai renter experience. Andheri or Goregaon are made easy by how close the Kandivali train station and the new Metro route are. From Namaha to all the retail options and the vibrant Mahavir Nagar food scene, I find great pleasure in how jam-packed this area is with basics from top-notch hospitals. The well-lit streets give me a sense of security even late at night.
NegativeNegative: The peak-hour traffic around the railway station is a major choke point and has to have more effective flow management. it's a daily time-sink. Since waterlogging during the strong monsoon season causes a rather mess, the civic body should fix the existing drainage system.
Positive: Kandivali West facilitated easy connectivity, connecting well to the Western Express Highway and having good transportation with its railway station and metro line. Essential facilities were available aplenty-schools such as Kapol Vidyanidhi and hospitals like Arusha Hospital. I also liked the fact that it had Kamala Vihar Jogger's Park, which was good for some greenery. Property prices were somewhat reasonable compared to some other more developed western suburbs.
NegativeNegatives: A major recurring problem was localized issues of waterlogging during the heavy monsoon season, which often hampered local movement. In addition, there were frequent reports of petty crimes like chain snatching and harassment, making some areas less than safe, particularly during nighttime.
Positives: I have been residing in Kandivali West and I enjoy the convenience of traveling through the railway station on the Western Line and the new Mumbai Metro Line 2A station nearby. The area is safe with proper lighting and crowded roads even at night. I adore the parks and green pockets spread here and there in the locality and the nearby hospitals such as Shivam Hospital and Chavan Hospital.
NegativeNegatives: The traffic on Link Road and near the railway station worsens extremely during rush hours and slows down what was otherwise supposed to be a quick ride. Furthermore, during heavy monsoons some of the lanes close to Charkop do get waterlogged because drainage is poor.
I find Kandivali West really good as a locality. If you think of connectivity, there is the metro and railway access nearby, along with so many social amenities. We have reputed schools, banks, hospitals, markets, and malls within a very short radius. Also, the development of numerous residential projects has completely transformed the neighbourhood in the recent years. Of course, crowds, congestion, and high pollution are some factors that should be highlighted in terms of the issues. Yet, access and social infrastructure make it one of the top places to live in, if you do not want to pay a huge amount for your home.
Kandivali West ticks almost all the boxes that I can think of. Of course, the metro station is nearby, while the railway station is also pretty accessible. Another plus point is that the housing options are widely available here. I’m so happy that my extended family members could also invest in mid-range and affordable homes here, a little after we moved in. Many good residential societies are also present here, while social amenities are also readily available nearby.
NegativeOne issue that I can highlight in this regard, is how there is increasing traffic congestion during the peak hours. This should be planned and fixed by the civic authorities.
I will personally give full marks to Kandivali West. This locality is excellent for staying in Mumbai without compromising on your budget. The metro station access is there, along with quick connections to the Western Express Highway and the Link Road. This makes commuting so easy, while the railway station is also present here. I feel that connectivity-wise, it is one of the top destinations, since the prices are affordable in comparison to several other so-called posh Mumbai localities. All the necessary social infrastructure is there within a short distance as well. The only problem I have faced here is the waterlogging during the monsoons.
Positives: The railway station is just within walking distance, and the accessibility to S.V. Road and Link Road makes going to any corner of the city very convenient. It's special because it's like a throbbing, self-contained town with good schools and hospitals all around. I feel secure and enjoy the lively market scene.
NegativeNegatives: The only thing that irks me consistently is the problem of safety, particularly for ladies in the night. I'm seriously concerned and it requires immediate police action. Furthermore, some inner areas and small roads experience perennial traffic congestion and parking issues. During the monsoon, waterlogging occurs on a large scale in some areas.
I personally love the experience of staying in Kandivali West. The metro station is present here, while both the Link Road and Highway are also easy to access. I also take the train from the railway station at times. From Ryan International School to Cambridge, many reputed institutions are present in the vicinity, while top healthcare centers are also present here. Raghuleela Mall and many other shopping centers can be accessed within just 10-15 minutes from the neighborhood. However, waterlogging is one of the biggest issues faced by people here, followed by traffic jams. Otherwise, the area is developing into a coveted residential location.
Positives: I believe that this region is one of the top locales of the Western Suburbs, with relatively modest rents compared to its neighbors. I believe its accessibility is great through the nearby railway and broad streets such as the Western Express Highway. I noticed that the region is very vibrant during nighttime, has excellent social amenities with numerous schools and hospitals, and overall is extremely safe because of frequent police patrols.
NegativeNegatives: I must add that insufficient public transport beyond the main road network causes great inconvenience. I found that waterlogging is a big problem during monsoon season. I believe certain areas in the area are unsafe zones, as chain snatching and harassment cases are unfortunately reported in secluded blind spots.
Kandivali West is a good place to stay, considering how the beachside lifestyle is not very far away. Marve Beach is accessible within 20 minutes, and you can also hang out at the Infiniti Mall (only 10 minutes away), like we do regularly. At the same time, Goregaon and Malad are both accessible from here, along with the employment hotspots that these places contain. I also like how several cafes, restaurants, shopping hubs, and healthcare centres are present in the surrounding zones. You also get the railway station and major roads for smoother connectivity.
NegativeThe only issue, in my opinion, is the absence of green cover in the locality. The eastern part of Kandivali is greener. Also, waterlogging during the monsoons is another problem worth highlighting in this regard.
It is one of the most affordable and value-for-money suburbs of Mumbai with nicely maintained main roads and competitive property rates. We have fantastic rail connectivity on the Western Line and convenient access to both the Western Express Highway as well as the soon-to-be-launched Metro Line 2A, making traveling so much quicker, particularly towards BKC, Andheri, and Goregaon for office. The availability of Kamala Vihar Jogger's Park and being in close proximity to Sanjay Gandhi National Park provides essential green cover, while basic social facilities such as Raghuleela Mall, premium schools, and Shivam Hospital are also in the vicinity. Nonetheless, though the locality is well illuminated, the locals often complain about chain snatching, and we have water logging during the rainy season that requires improved drainage.
Kandivali West is where I have been staying for quite some time now. And I can safely tell you that it is a very safe locality. I come back from my office many times at night, and it is as peaceful and secure as can be. So that’s a major plus point. At the same time, my workplace in Powai is less than 40 minutes away through the JVLR. This is our main connectivity lifeline, and there are many other connectivity advantages, like the railway network. The entire Andheri stretch is also easily accessible, along with all the amenities in these places.
NegativeNoise and dust pollution are key issues in the area, along with peak traffic congestion.
Kandivali West is known for its charming community feeling. I mean, whenever you see all the residential complexes and local markets, you will notice how friendly everyone is, and how the local vibe is infectiously positive! Multiple shopping centres, cafes, and gyms are available in the neighbourhood, while reputed healthcare centres are also nearby. Connectivity-wise, the SV Road and the Link Road are the big lifelines worth considering, while the Kandivali railway station is also a major hotspot for commutes.
NegativeThis part of the locality does not have a lot of green cover, unlike the eastern half of the area, which is closer to the Sanjay Gandhi National Park.
Kandivali West is a good place to live in, considering its strategic location. So, for starters, I am a frequent visitor to the Infiniti Mall in Malad West. It is just 9-10 minutes away from my home in Kandivali West by car. This is a major advantage for me, since I am more of the shopping mall type who prefers lounging around. Also, the Marve Beach is about 17-20 minutes away from the locality. This is a good place to relax and watch the sunset each day. My workplace in Goregaon is also pretty accessible from Kandivali West. So, everything is sorted for me, at least.
As a owner I always suggest Kandivali West for its excellent connectivity to key regions such as BKC and Goregaon through the Western Express Highway. The region providing excellent value for money when compared with other Western Suburbs, and the infrastructure is highly developed with great hospitals and educational institutions in proximity. Swami Vivekananda International School. The proximity of the Kandivali Railway Station and future metro routes makes travel convenient, while the overall civic social infrastructure hums with shopping centers and nightlife. The only single big plus for civic development in the future that requires attention is the safety perception of residents, which needs to be improved through more security and regular police patrols.
I was staying in Kandivali West for several years before I ultimately shifted to another place. One of the good things about this area is its well-developed social amenities, including the restaurants, stores, and schools like Ryan International. Many hospitals like Seven Star are also present here, while Mahavir Nagar and Evershine Dream Park are also well-connected to the neighbourhood, which are key shopping spots. The Kandivali West metro station is the main connectivity lifeline (Yellow Line 2A). The SV Road is also accessible from here, along with the Link Road and the Kandivali railway station. I also noticed how safe the locality is, something that was always a guarantee of mental peace.
NegativeTraffic jams are a key issue in the locality, while another complaint I have is that the western part of the locality does not have as much green cover as the eastern part.
Positives: I've been a renter in Kandivali West and totally endorse it. The connectivity is unmatched, being literally next to the Link Road and the station, so my commute is a breeze. We have all that a family requires good schools, Raghuleela Mall, and Charkop industrial area is nearby for business. And besides, the vibrant community is excellent, and Kamala Vihar Jogger's Park provides a pleasant green touch.
NegativeNegatives: The worst bother is the extreme traffic jams near Link Road during rush hour, and accessing regular parking proves difficult most of the time. Secondly, the city drainage has to be improved as monsoon waterlogging is simply frustrating. Otherwise, a wonderful place to settle down.
Positives: Shifting to Kandivali West was a highly rewarding choice. We are hugely benefited with the proximity to Kandivali Railway Station and Western Express Highway, easily reaching major job centers like BKC and Goregaon at quick times. Having good schools like Kapol Vidyanidhi International School and malls like Raghuleela Mall, all adding up to a hassle free, comfortable living.
NegativeNegatives: More specifically, the neighborhood parks, such as Kamala Vihar Jogger's Park, tend to be poorly kept and not always clean, restricting our green space utilization. Secondly, some areas continue to experience public safety matters like chain snatching cases, which indicate the necessity for more and visible police patrols, particularly at night.
Positives: Kandivali West islively location. Western Express Highway and local bus stops, making traveling to Andheri, Goregaon, and BKC easy. There are decent schools such as St. Joseph's High School and Kapol Vidyanidhi International School. Shopping and restaurants are convenient with malls such as Raghuleela Mall and nearby cafes. Healthcare proximity was comforting with Metro ENT and Arusha Hospital nearby. I also enjoyed Kamala Vihar Jogger's Park for evening strolls and the lively community spirit.
NegativeNegatives: Yet, the locality requires waterlogging improvement, traffic jam, safety of women, cleanliness of parks, less public transport, and sporadic chain snatching activity. In spite of that, it is affordable and socially active.
It is affordable and comfortable living in Kandivali West, Mumbai. I enjoy the convenient access to Western Express Highway directly connect to BKC, Andheri, and Goregaon, and the location is close to the airport. St. Joseph's and Swami Vivekananda International schools makes it a great place for families, and hospitals such as Metro ENT and Arusha Hospital provide access to healthcare. Shopping centers, neighborhood markets, gyms, and restaurants are in abundance. Well lit and secure streets, and parks such as Kamala Vihar to take an early morning walk. Areas of improvement are traffic control during rush hours and improved public transportation. All in all, Kandivali West is a convenient, vibrant place I strongly recommend.
Positives: Staying in Kandivali West is like having the best of city life and peaceful neighborhoods combined. I enjoy how accessible we are to schools such as Swami Vivekananda and Kapol Vidyanidhi, and malls such as Raghuleela and La Care make shopping so easy. Hospitals are within reach, and the Western Express Highway makes travel easy. The area is active, parks such as Kamala Vihar Jogger's Park are wonderful for mornings, and property prices are quite reasonable for Mumbai.
NegativeNegative: Certain parks are poorly maintained, and intermittent waterlogging takes place during monsoons. Chain snatching, harassment, limited public transport, and issues of dirtiness are concerns as well. Traffic congestion during peak hours can be painful to commute.
Positives: Living in Kandivali West as an owner has been a truly wonderful experience. Reputed schools such as Ryan International and hospitals to large shopping malls such as Xth Central Mall and D-Mart are within easy reach. The area is lively and feels extremely safe, thanks especially to well lit roads and police visibility at night. The impending Metro connectivity is also a big plus point.
NegativeNegatives: I have observed that parking for visitors, particularly in the areas around markets, is still a major issue. The noise level becomes extremely disturbing because of the intense commercial activity. Finally, some of the smaller parks can certainly do with improved and more regular maintenance to provide a genuine peaceful green oasis for all.
Positives: I was peaceful and happy when I first shifted to Kandivali West. The Kandivali railway station on the Western Line makes traveling convenient, and the new metro connectivity adds options. There are plenty of decent schools, clinics and shops nearby. Malls and markets are accessible. Rents in this place seem reasonable compared to central suburbs, and I get good value for my flat. I enjoy the blend of the old neighborhood and new skyscrapers. Small parks and even close proximity to green areas along the north edge are available. My daily requirements are easy to fulfill.
NegativeNegatives Nevertheless, I desire improved water supply reliability, tidier public areas and better waste management. These three improvements would make staying here even better.
Positives: I used to live in Kandivali West, and I always felt that it provided the perfect blend of comfort and convenience. It was well-equipped with good schools, hospitals, and shopping centers such as Raghuleela Mall and Mahavir Nagar market that facilitated daily living. I enjoyed the fact that it was so well connected by the Western Express Highway and suburban rail, and traveling to other regions of Mumbai was a breeze. The area consisted of numerous serene residential pockets with a good amount of greenery and well-laid-out parks. The evenings at the seafront area opposite Charkop were soothing and peaceful. It was as if a secure and vibrant neighborhood. But I feel enhancing footpaths and providing more public sitting spaces would make Kandivali West an even more resident-friendly area.
Positives: I enjoy having my apartment here in Kandivali West. It's a genuine neighborhood, not one of those high-rise suburbs. The life here is terrific, with Raghuleela Mall and so many good schools, such as Kapol Vidyanidhi, literally next to my door, making life convenient for my family. The connectivity is the biggest plus point; being near the railway station and having access to both Link Road as well as SV Road, commuting becomes efficient, and the property price seemed okay for Mumbai. I like the value for money and solid community feel. But we badly need the authorities to resolve the heavy traffic jams close to the major intersections in peak hours. It is the biggest sore point here.
Positives: I reside at Kandivali West as a flat dweller. I find the area suitable for many reasons. It has good rail and road connectivity through the Western Line, metro and regular buses, nice schools and hospitals in the vicinity, along with shopping opportunities and markets nearby, making life easy.
NegativeNegatives: Despite this, I am settled here. Still I have issues. My road gets flooded during monsoon and waterlogging hinders my commute; SV Road traffic during peak hours is exhausting; parking in my society neighborhood is scarce and I end up walking a long distance with groceries. I feel frustrated and desire better drainage, better traffic management and designated parking areas.
Positives: I think Kandivali West is great for its ideal combination of affordability and high-standard urban living. The easy connectivity to the Western Express Highway and the principal business areas like BKC is incredibly convenient for office. And with the Kandivali Railway Station and the new metro on the way, traveling is a cinch. I love that big shopping centers and hospitals are easily accessible here, making daily living easy and well-supported.
NegativeNegatives: The two issues that get me down are public cleanliness and security. The public places tend to be untidy, and some blind spots and poorly lit areas are noticeable, which is unacceptable, particularly at night. It's also irritating that public transport around is somewhat limited given the high population.
Positives: I considered living in Kandivali West to be extremely convenient. The good connectivity through the Western Express Highway and the local station made it simple to go to areas such as Andheri and BKC. Moreover, the availability of shopping and entertainment spots such as Raghuleela Mall never allowed me to get bored, and the prices of the property were relatively affordable for Mumbai.
NegativeNegatives: That being said, there were some things that made life a bit tough on a daily basis. In the peak monsoons, waterlogging in certain low-lying pockets in the locality was a regular menace. I also saw that public parks were not maintained well. Concerningly, minor street crime, including chain snatching, was frequently reported in poorly lit blind spots. Lastly, the local roads were deteriorating or broken in some interior residential areas.
Positives: I believe that over the years, it has developed into a vibrant but cosy neighbourhood. I'm a woman homeowner, and one thing I appreciate most here is that there is a good mix of modern amenities and a neighbourhood feel suitable for families. The neighbourhood has good schools, good hospitals, and great shopping complexes such as Raghuleela Mall. It's also well-connected via the Western Railway and Link Road, so one can commute easily on a daily basis. The area is safe to live in, and there's always a communal feeling during festivities and neighbourhood events.
NegativeNegatives: All the same, some areas still struggle with drainage during the monsoon months, and the older complexes near Mahavir Nagar could do with more maintenance. Streetlights in some lanes are also sporadic.
You will undoubtedly like living in Kandivali West if you are okay with being slightly cut off from the mainstream Mumbai places. I was okay with it, and hence invested here. It’s slowly becoming a more desirable area, since the metro access is nearby, along with the WEH, Link Road, and railway station, so people can commute very easily. Then the shopping malls- Growels and all are there, along with good schools, hospitals- it has everything that a family will need and that too at a fair price, in my opinion. I also like the fact that people here celebrate together and are helpful.
NegativeThe road deteriorates after the monsoon every year, especially the 2-3 approach roads, but it can be improved by the authorities if they want.
I have always loved staying in this neighbourhood, and I had to move to another city. The property rates were affordable compared to many other Mumbai areas. The best part is that everything was within walking distance of my home. The markets were only 4-5 minutes away, along with local restaurants, ATMs, clinics, and even grocery stores. Also, many malls came up here at the height of the Mumbai retail boom. The metro station here is a good development, which happened just before I had to shift.
NegativeSee, the only thing I can highlight in terms of a negative experience is the poor road conditions. Every time I used to see the authorities taking a long time to dig the roads. Parking is also an issue at many places.
Positives: I discovered that this project is a blend of affordability and convenience. The locality has great connectivity through Western Express Highway and local trains, and traveling to Andheri, Goregaon, or BKC was relatively convenient. Institutes like Swami Vivekananda International School and Pawar Public School, and hospitals like Shivam and Chavan, made life easy. Shopping malls, restaurants, gyms, and parks like Kamala Vihar Jogger's Park made the area attractive. Negatives: Nevertheless, there were some drawbacks. Peak hour traffic jams were exasperating, waterlogging in certain places during monsoons, and random safety issues, particularly for women, existed. In spite of all this, I had a good time here and liked its affordability and accessibility ratio.
Positives: I have just shifted to Kandivali West, and I prefer the combination of quiet residential pockets and active shopping in the vicinity. My nearby railway station and Western Express Highway ensure quick commuting, and malls such as Raghuleela and Infiniti provide decent shopping and dining options. New housing projects ensure proximity to schools, hospitals and supermarkets, and I take regular evening strolls in small parks for fresh air. Negatives: Despite that, I see negative aspects like dense traffic on Link Road and during rush hours, waterlogging during the monsoon, which causes a delay in travelling, parking deficit around crowded markets and shopping malls, and round-the-clock sounds of construction of new buildings. Being a short-term renter, I am otherwise content here, but I do hope civic amenities and parking improve soon.
Positives: Kandivali West provides a balanced lifestyle with great connectivity and amenities. It has well paved roads, good public transport options, and numerous shopping centers, schools, and hospitals. Citizens get to experience a combination of urban amenities and green spaces, making it a good place for families and working professionals. Negatives: But no location is free from problems. Peak hour traffic congestion can be problematic to travel emergency demand, and parking spaces are not abundant in some areas, it causes urgent parking in anywhere is inconvenient. Also, some areas in the locality get waterlogged during the rainy season for excessive rain, which causes inconvenience to daily life.
Positives: You see, finding a home in this locality was one of the smartest things I have ever done for my family. I really love the great social infrastructure. We have very good schools and hospitals all around, and shopping places like Raghuleela Mall are so accessible. The connectivity is great, being near the railway station and the Western Express Highway, and the prices of this property are relatively affordable when compared to other prime suburbs of Mumbai. The area is also safe, with proper lighting and good security guards patrolling. Negatives: The monsoon causes waterlogging, which is maddening and brings everything to a grinding halt. All the big bad notwithstanding, the convenient proximity of everything, ranging from parks to Charkop's industrial area, makes me assured that I'll be smiling here for years to come.
Positives: See, this part of Kandivali has a lot going for it, in my opinion. The Kandivali railway station is not very far, and the Link Road, SV Road, and WEH- you can access all of them without difficulties. Kamala Vihar Jogger’s Park and other green spaces are abundantly available, along with ATMs, local restaurants, clinics, schools, and even shopping malls. The best part is that you can access the dedicated metro station at Kandivali West for smooth connectivity to various Mumbai areas. Negatives: Kandivali West is a sorted locality in most cases. However, two things that I wish to highlight are the poor road conditions after every monsoon, and also the lack of parking spaces in many places.
Positives: I liked how conveniently connected the location was the railway station, Western Express Highway, Link Road, etc brought me to work and friends quite easily. There were a lot of schools around: Swami Vivekananda International, Thakur International etc. Plenty of mall, Raghuleela Mall, Akruti Shopping Centre, and Reliance Trends made relaxed weekends easy. Negatives: Waterlogging during monsoons would flood many roads and make daily travelling a hassle. Noise and traffic jams were also poor, particularly along major roads and highway intersections. Some streets were not well cleaned. Safety at night was a concern in some pockets, and although there were plenty of amenities, last-mile movement would sometimes involve long walks or waiting.
Positives: I shifted into a small 1BHK close to Kandivali station two years back, and I find life here very practical. Kandivali West is on the Western railway line, and travelling by local train is convenient. Also, New Link Road and the Western Express Highway provide quick road connectivity. Malls such as Raghuleela, local bazaars, schools and hospitals are close by, and new housing complexes provide spanking new flats. Rentals are affordable in comparison to South Mumbai, and local parks and eateries make life enjoyable. Negatives: I rate Kandivali West 4 stars. Some disadvantages of the location are that I found, rush-hour trains and station commuters are extremely crowded, main roads become choked, and parking is scarce in older areas. Also, low-lying lanes can waterlog during heavy monsoons.
Positives: We've been residents of Kandivali West for years, and it's certainly a reliable option for Mumbai living with a lot to offer at the price. The best benefit is the excellent road and rail link. Western Express Highway and the local train station are literally at your doorstep, and it's relatively easy to commute to Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) or Andheri. We also have excellent social infrastructure in place with Raghuleela Mall, good quality hospitals, and schools around. Property prices here are affordable. Negatives: Traffic is completely horrible during rush hours, bringing everything to a crawl. Also, the monsoon season waterlogging is a nightmare and causes huge problems on the roads. Also, there are periodic reports of safety issues such as chain snatching in certain places, so one must be careful, especially in the evening.
Positives: This neighborhood is totally worth five stars. Connectivity is actually what makes life so convenient. We have the local train station at Kandivali, the Charkop metro station just nearby, and easy access to the Western Express Highway and Link Road. All you could possibly want is here: great schools, good hospitals, and great local markets, all the large malls and cinema halls to boot. We have such a lively, mixed community here, and in comparison to South Mumbai. Negatives: It's just a fantastic, vibrant community that has everything that a family requires for good living. If I must choose one minus point, it would be traffic jam and parking.
Positives: I moved to Kandivali West around a year back, and I've found it quite convenient as a city resident. There is a nice balance of old and new residential apartments here, and things of a daily essential nature are all within a short distance. The railway station is also nearby, which makes traveling to Andheri or Borivali a breeze. I also appreciate the presence of a few parks and open grounds. The roads are good, and there are busy local markets with all the shops one needs. Negatives: On the negative side, traffic can be infuriating in rush hour, especially around the major junctions. It's a good place to call home, safe and workable, but if you like it quiet and up-to-date, it can feel a bit hectic at times.
Positives: Having stayed here in this area was a fairly good experience for me. The highlight was the way self-contained the area felt; all from routine shopping to good hospitals was a short walk away. Travelling to work was also a cakewalk. The local railway station was always a safe bet, and being just around the corner from the Thane-Belapur Road made it so convenient to reach my workplace at the Millennium Business Park. Negatives: The traffic was a real pain, but what really irked me was illegal parking on each and every street, so it wasn't easy to walk around. And during the monsoon, the waterlogging was a nightmare. I also had some pollution from the surrounding industrial zones, which was a real negative for me.
Positives: I have been living in Kandivali West for decades now and have witnessed this area change into something really beautiful. The largest advantage is the accessibility. The railway station is just a step away, and with the Western Express Highway right beside you, commuting is never a problem. You have everything here, be it good schools for the children to markets and malls like Growels 101. It is a total package. Negatives: My one worry is with how much population is coming in now. It does make some areas feel a bit too populated, but I guess that's something to look forward to in a good place to live.
Positives: This zone is ideal for families seeking convenience without confusion. I appreciate how well the location is accessed with the Western Express Highway and the railway station, and it makes traveling convenient. I always mention the schools, hospitals, and shopping malls in the vicinity, and I believe this makes day-to-day life easy. I like to show the green plots, play areas, and tranquil roads that actually make the place a cozy, homely experience. The residential compounds are generally new, and I have plenty of choices for both customers and investors. Negatives: There are still some areas with lots of old buildings that require renovation, but with the new construction. Overall, I believe the atmosphere is certainly getting better and better each day.
Positives: I have been living in Kandivali West for quite some time, and I am comfortable here. I make use of the Kandivali railway station and the Western Express Highway on a weekly basis. I have schools such as Swami Vivekananda Intl. and Pawar Public close to where I live, I go shopping at Raghuleela, Apna Bazar and neighborhood markets, and I frequently go to Kamala Vihar jogger's park while Sanjay Gandhi National Park is just a drive away. Negatives: I experience waterlogging during heavy monsoon and do get anxious at times with chain-snatching reports from some areas of the locality. I also hope parks are kept neater and parking closer to marketplaces is simpler.
I appreciate that all is well organised here. I have schools such as Swami Vivekananda and Pawar Public nearby, and hospitals like Shivam and Namaha are within easy reach. Malls such as Raghuleela and Apna Bazar make shopping easy. The railway station and metro ease my mobility, and I also get buses and autos without hassle. Parks such as Kamala Vihar Jogger's Park and the nearby Sanjay Gandhi National Park provide me with open spaces to unwind. Negatives: The only disadvantage for me is the waterlogging during the monsoon, which gets dirty on internal roads. Cases of chain snatching also occur, so nights don't quite feel safe. Some parks can have better cleanliness.
Positives: I reside in Kandivali West. Well connected through local trains and the Western Express Highway, the airport is about 15 km away. Malls such as Raghuleela Mall, decent schools and plenty of hospitals nearby. Employment with Charkop Industrial Area and flats at affordable rates. Kamala Vihar Park is convenient for walking in the evenings. Negatives: But rush-hour traffic is worst, the monsoon causes waterlogging, and some of the parks are filthy. Safety concerns such as chain snatching exist, and parking spaces are usually congested.
Positives: I like how cheap Kandivali West is and how well it's connected with the road as well as the rail. I'm safe here with good illumination and police patrolling. The place has excellent schools, hospitals, and parks. Negatives: I have observed that the parks are not very clean. There is also waterlogging during monsoons. I would like to see improved public transport.
Positives: I enjoy staying in this area because of local trains, and Western Express Highway facilitate commuting. Moreover, the airport is roughly 15 km away, real estate is more economical, and schools, hospitals and malls such as Raghuleela are nearby. Negatives: Monsoon waterlogging and traffic jams hold me up, parks may be dirty, and chain-snatching reports keep me on guard during the night.
This images and photos of kandivali west this is one of the best and prime location there is a full Cosmo politant crowd located in this locality .
Overall it's a good building and the locality is of mix crowd Gujarati etc large size of rooms and we'll structural building
