More than 50 homebuyers of ILD Greens, a housing project in Gurugram's Sector 37C that has been delayed by over seven years, staged a protest at the office of Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Hrera). The buyers accused the developer of diverting funds to build other commercial projects and expressed their anger at the inability of the real estate authority to get the project work done.
The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), Gurgaon, awarded 60-day civil imprisonment to the promoter of real estate developer International Land Developers (ILD) in a contempt case. The allottee had filed a complaint at the RERA court in November 2018, alleging delay by the promoter in handing over possession.

The applicant had approached the authority in February 2019 after the builder failed to deliver the housing unit as per the deadline of August 2017. The new deadline to complete the project is December 2023.
A family living in ILD Grand society, Sector 37C, had a narrow escape after a bullet from a celebratory firing pierced the balcony window of their 12th-floor apartment. The incident took place during a wedding procession near the society. Police have registered an FIR under the Arms Act and are investigating.
