The East-West Metro Corridor in Kolkata is nearing its final stages of construction, with officials indicating that trial runs will commence shortly after completion. The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) inspection will follow, and commercial services will begin only after receiving a go-ahead from the CRS.
