Positives: For other young professionals and students, I would advise New Town since it provides such a pleasant and reasonably priced housing option! The location is extremely modern; as a renter, I feel really safe here; nightly patrol is really helpful. With quick metro and bus links, my college path to the neighboring Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Government College is simple. The future possibilities abound in the Bengal Silicon Valley Tech Hub. For nighttime strolls close to my home, my favourite location is the peaceful New Town Lake Park.

Negatives: Though rents are cheap, we desperately need additional big multispecialty hospitals nearby, and daily shopping will be much simplified with more local supermarkets.

Positives: My decision to invest in New Town was brilliant. Therefore, I advise it based on its tremendous appreciation potential and outstanding planning. Featuring numerous parks and broad roadways, this is Kolkata's best infrastructure. Being close to TCS Gitanjali Park helps my journey to be quick and stress-free, therefore greatly benefiting my family life. Axis Mall is where I go shopping. The New Town stretch metro work and Orange Line progress inspire optimism for quicker travel soon. Daily excursions are made by e-rickshaws, shuttles, and buses. We benefit from hospitals and centres in New Town and Salt Lake.

Negatives: Nearby IT employment here keep rental demand constant. My worry, though, are a few waste areas and incomplete civic projects. Often, I like calm nights, neighbour meetings at cafes, and modest cultural activities nearby.
