Sector 46, Gurgaon Reviews

I found Sector 46 to be useful and very connected during my brief stay. For brief trips to close places, I used Netaji Subhash Marg and Sohna Road. My daily requirements were met by neighborhood shops and the Huda market. Commutes were brief since offices were readily accessible on Golf Course Extension Road and NH 48. Medanta and Max were a brief drive away hospitals. Independent houses and fresh flats lined streets. Friendly neighbours and little parks offered great weekend strolls. Most of the time I felt secure and at ease. Broken footpaths and drainage needed work, which the local government ought soon repair to guarantee safe walking for all in the region.

Independent homes and high-rise apartments in Sector 46 contribute to the distinctive, established character of the area. Close proximity to HUDA City Centre metro station is a big benefit for my daily trip since it keeps me linked to all of the city. My favourite thing about the neighbourhood is its extreme friendliness. The local Huda Market is a wonderful centre for all my groceries and purchasing requirements. Additionally, calming are our excellent healthcare amenities like Artemis Hospital just nearby. Thanks to its verdant surroundings and excellent schools such Amity International. The one thing that absolutely has to be constantly improved, meanwhile, is resolving the rush hour traffic congestion on Sohna Road.

I advise Sector 46 Gurgaon to my customers. Near HUDA Chowk and Netaji Subhash Marg, it is a developed residential area with a blend of gated communities and single dwellings. Conveniently located are good schools, hospitals, and markets. CyberCity, MG Road and Delhi benefit from excellent connectivity provided by Metro and NH48. Mid segment pricing and prepared inventory make this appropriate for first-time purchasers and investors. Near businesses and healthcare centers, rental demand stays consistent, with average returns generally three to four percent. Living is improved by community parks and active RWAs. One area to be improved is footway and garbage maintenance in some areas with solid prospects.

Positives: With leading schools like Amity International and many specialised hospitals nearby, Sector 46's superior social infrastructure is much valued. My work commute is straightforward since we are also really near to significant business hubs and the HUDA City Centre metro station. Additionally, for all my purchasing and eating requirements, the Huda Market is a fantastic local centre and creates a dynamic, self-sufficient sensation throughout the neighbourhood.

Negative

Negatives: First among daily commuters, the rush hour traffic congestion, particularly close to Sohna Road, can get rather severe. Second, apart from the metro, public transportation choices are not always consistent, therefore it is difficult to go around without depending on private taxis.

Sector 46 has delighted me and my family. We have been here for quite some time now, and the place feels very developed. The road connectivity is excellent, while nearby sectors have all the necessary amenities and essentials very close at hand. The property appreciation has been tremendous, and multiple gated communities and top projects have been coming up here, with great amenities too. International schools and other infrastructure are also present here, while the planned nature of the layout makes it a good place to live in. Of course, there’s rampant construction going on, which means the open nature of the layout is slowly changing. But the overall feel is still nice.

Sector 46 is a posh zone in the city, and has developed into the same, because of the multiple luxury residential projects located here, and the changing resident profile. I like the well-planned structure of the neighbourhood, and we get access to multiple roads and highways nearby. Of course, the Sectors 39, 47, and 45 are the nearest ones, and several reputed schools have also set up campuses here, including Amity and Manav Rachna. Social amenities are also developing fast, something that has influenced the character of the neighbourhood.

Negative

The costs of living are going up rapidly here, while the traffic jams are one issue that I wish to highlight here.

Positive: Sector 46 is a very well-planned layout and good educational infrastructure, having schools like Amity International School in its neighborhood. Radha Krishnan Park great for evening walks. The area was pretty central, connected quite well via Netaji Subhash Marg, and the HUDA City Centre Metro Station was just a few km away, making the commute easy. Essential services were great, from Huda Market for shopping to Medharbour and Artemis Hospital for quick access to healthcare.

Negative

Negative: Public transportation other than the metro was not dependable, as there was poor service in certain pockets despite the connectivity. Secondly, waterlogging, during the monsoon season, had become a perennial problem since there was a poor drainage system in parts of the neighborhood.

Positives: I first shifted to Sector 46 back in the day for peace and how connected it is. I adore the safety vibe and the level of greenery that we have, with the Huda City Centre metro station being very close. My favorite aspect is being aware that major emergency centers, such as Artemis Hospital, are not far away. Due to the great amenities and the low crime rate.

Negative

Negatives: The Sohna Road junction rush-hour traffic becomes extremely choked and my daily life is frustrating because of it. The drainage is a serious issue, as we have waterlogging on certain internal roads during every monsoon season. This certainly requires top priority attention from the city.

Positives: Sector 46 was pleasing to me for being only minutes away from the HUDA market and good schools such as Amity International School, Gurgaon, and also main roads such as NH-48 and Sohna Road which ease commuting. The area is safe with good social infrastructure and the green area around keeps me relaxed after work.

Negative

Negatives: Peak-hour traffic along the main roads tends to extend and at times I find there are limited public transport options if I don't drive. Moreover, occasional power cuts and drainage problems during monsoon have been a hassle in my society and that does tend to make me concerned about long-term maintenance.

I will give a big thumbs-up to Sector 46. Living here has been easier than I imagined, thanks to the amenities in my gated society, and also my friendly neighbours. I’ve driven down the Sohna Road and NH-48, both of which are quickly accessible nearby. Also, the HUDA City Center or Sector 53-54 metro junctions are not hard to access (you can do it in about 15-20 minutes in good traffic). Multiple markets have come up near our complex here, while some hospitals and schools are also situated within a 15-20-minute radius. Investment-wise, it has been a good bet for the future, and livability has also been going up day-by-day. I just want the authorities to fix the waterlogging problem here.

Sector 46 is one of the top places to invest in Gurgaon, according to me. The NH-48 and Sohna Road are both accessible, while the HUDA City Center metro station is approximately 3.1 km away. The Sector 53-54 metro access is also there. There are several hospitals, markets, malls, and schools in proximity to the area, while many premium residential complexes have also been developed over the last few years.

Negative

Yes, direct metro connectivity is absent, but you can still access the other metro stations in nearby sectors. Also, the last-mile public transportation needs to be developed more for a smoother commute to metro and bus stations. One more thing is the waterlogging or flooding during monsoons.

I have to say that residing in Sector 46 is like being at the center of Central Gurgaon. I am highly satisfied with the security here and the ready access to several corporate parks such as Unitech Cyber Park. The location stands out with its excellent blend of peaceful residences and business comfort, preferred by families and working professionals alike, and the HUDA City Centre Metro Station is easily accessible by drive. I personally love the great schools, hospitals, and plenty of greenery due to the neat and well-managed local parks. Nevertheless, I have noted two major disadvantages, such as heavy traffic jam at peak hours. Additionally, I feel the authorities have to take care of the local drainage system since waterlogging is an ever-present hassle.

Positive: I am comfortable here in this industry, and I should mention that it is well located in Gurgaon with proper proximity to Sohna Road and NH48. I utilise local metro stations for work and arrive at IFFCO Chowk like hubs in short drives. Malls, schools and parks are shut and rents seem reasonable for professionals and families. New residential complexes bring in comfort and shopping options.

Negative

Negatives: I do see three issues that need to be remedied. Roads have potholes, and heavy traffic causes commutes to slow. Waste collection is spasmodic and waterlogging crops up after rains. Footpaths are broken and market encroachments push pedestrians on the road which at times feels unsafe. Despite all these problems I do suggest Sector 46 for its location.

This area is a developing one, and I feel that it has a lot of future potential. I decided to stay here, since my son studies at Manav Rachna. Many other schools are situated in the vicinity, while hospitals like Artemis are also pretty close by. Many developers are building projects here, and the main pull factor is the proximity to the HUDA City Centre metro. Also, NH-48 and Golf Course Extension Road are pretty convenient to access. So, these are factors that are keeping the market growing in the neighbourhood.

Negative

Now, coming to problems, social amenities have to be developed rapidly. Also, the construction work here is leading to a lot of pollution.

I am a broker who resides and sells houses in Sector 46, Gurgaon and I prefer its central attraction. The locality is positioned near Sohna Road, NH48 and Golf Course Extension. HUDA City Centre and transport connectivity are in close proximity. Schools, medical facilities and neighborhood malls are convenient for families. New residential developments provide contemporary apartments while the prices are affordable as compared to high-end sectors. Small tree pockets and parks provide clean air between constructed blocks. Roads are generally good but have been reported broken footpaths and uncovered drains, which have an impact on security. I suggest Sector 46 to buyers who look for central location and affordability. Two areas of improvement are enhanced road and drainage maintenance and more organized large commercial office complexes nearby.

The Sector 46 locality is coming up fast, and I am happy to be investing here for my future settlement. My own residential community is quite peaceful, and I find it quite easy to access the HUDA City Centre Station for the metro access. The Sohna Road, NH-48, and Golf Course Extension Road are all easy to access too. DLF Cyber City, where I work, is about 10-12 km away, while my spouse works at Sohna Road, which is even closer. Medanta and Artemis Hospitals, Amity and Manav Rachna, and Ardee Mall are all within close range. The only wish that I have is that the construction work gets over speedily, and that the road noise and dust come down.

I am so fortunate to have had a property in Sector 46 for years. It's truly a central and safe location, ideal for families. Connectivity is great with the HUDA City Centre Metro just a short drive away and main roads such as Golf Course Road right there. We are near the best schools and lovely green parks, such as Tau Devi Lal, making morning walks a delight. The commercial center is very convenient to access, and the competitive rates for such a prime area was a huge plus when we purchased. Enhancement of the local drainage system to eradicate monsoon waterlogging would really make this otherwise well-cared and vibrant locality perfect.

Some of the good things about the area were how close it was to schools like Manav Rachna and Amity International, along with Medanta, Artemis, and other hospitals. Also, the HUDA market had all other essentials, while the HUDA City Centre metro was just 10-15 minutes away.

Negative

I moved out of Sector 46 due to the stagnant water and poor drainage system. There is flooding during the monsoons, and the waterlogging makes it very problematic. The municipality needs to do a lot of drainage work to finally fix the problem. Then there are the power cuts during the summer, which are unbearable at times. The potholed roads and limited nightlife choices are also other issues here.

Positives: I shifted to Sector 46 for my profession in Cyber City, and it has been a good move. The connectivity is superb with HUDA City Centre Metro just a drive away, and we are situated beside large offices. And the popular HUDA Market is available where you can find everything you want super shops, eateries, and gorgeous, clean parks for greenery.

Negative

Negatives: The chief difficulty here lies in the aging infrastructure, which really needs the attention. The traffic conditions on the inner roads and near Sohna Road during rush hour are really messed up. Also, the road conditions in some parts are quite rough with visible potholes, and the poor drainage system causes a lot of waterlogging during the monsoons.

Positives: Residing in Sector 46 has been great, providing me with just the right combination of a peaceful and world class city convenience. Netaji Subhas Marg to Sohna Road and the Huda City Centre Metro Station is within a short drive. We are enveloped by good schools like Amity International School, big hospitals such as Artemis, and the bustling Huda Market, making life truly comfortable and convenient.

Negative

Negatives: Lack of effective public transport in the sector itself makes local commutation difficult in the absence of an individual vehicle. Moreover, we sometimes experience irregular supply of water and electricity, especially on hot summer days. Even the drainage system needs to be enhanced to clear water logging on certain routes.

Positives: Sector 46, Gurgaon was well planned the place was. Large roads, neat parks and green spaces made walks enjoyable. Amity and Manav Rachna schools, Artemis hospital were all very close by. HUDA Market had nearly everything, groceries, restaurants, shops all within walking distance. Also being close to Sohna Road, NH 48 and the metro made travel to work convenient.

Negative

Negatives: Traffic in the major roads was terrible during peak hours. Waterlogging occurred in several internal roads during monsoons. Several roads acquired potholes soon after they were repaired. Garbage disposal was poor. Plus, frequent power outages occurred in summer. These four aspects really needed to improve in Sector 46.

It's very comfortable and family friendly living in Sector 46, Gurgaon. I appreciate the nicely planned design, broad roads, and green spaces in parks such as Tau Devi Lal Biodiversity Park and Radha Krishna Park. Netaji Subhas Marg, Sohna Road, NH 48, and Huda City Centre Metro at a few kilometers distance. Places like Amity International and DPS International, along with hospitals like Artemis and Fortis, make life a cakewalk. Huda Market and malls in the vicinity offer shopping and dining facilities. Improvements needed are Sohna Road traffic in peak hours and irregular water/electricity supply at times. On the whole, Sector 46 is a safe, happening, and well-linked area I recommend highly.

Commuting is easy with metro and road connectivity.

Negative

Negative: The occasional water and electricity shortages, limited public transport, sluggish maintenance in certain societies, and small civic issues are present. Positives: This sector has been an excellent experience for me. Sohna Road and NH-48 conveniently accessible. The availability of HUDA City Centre Metro Station in close proximity further adds to the commuting ease. Sector 46 Park, offering greenery for leisure and outdoor recreation. Manav Rachna International School and high-quality healthcare centers like Medanta, making sure that residents have access to quality education and healthcare services.

Negative

Negatives: But some areas can be enhanced. Residents complained of poor waste management, including sporadic garbage collection and open dumping, resulting in sanitation issues. Waterlogging during the monsoon has been seen with poor drainage systems. The absence of enough designated parking space has caused congestion and hassle to residents.

Positives: I recently moved to Sector 46, Gurgaon, and feel very comfortable here. The sector is well-planned with broad roads, parks, and new-age apartment complexes. All basic needs are readily available with supermarkets, schools, and healthcare centers in the vicinity. I like the serene environment. I prefer the ease of traveling to work or nearby malls due to the proximity to Golf Course Extension Road and NH-48. Security in most residential complexes is satisfactory.

Negative

Negatives: It is largely a pleasure to live here, but there are some areas for improvement. Sometimes the drainage system gets clogged when it rains heavily. Internal lane street lighting in certain areas should be better for increased night safety, and public park maintenance requires more frequent attention to ensure they remain clean and operational.

The clean parks and gardens, such as Tau Devi Lal Biodiversity Park, were a stunning haven, and the Huda Market was a bustling destination for eating out and shopping. Positives: I reside in Sector 46, Gurgaon, and I enjoy its peaceful, residential ambiance. It has good connectivity through ways such as NH-8, Sohna Road and metro connectivity. Negative

Negatives: I have experienced a lot of issues in this sector in everyday life. Rainwater causes waterlogging on our main road, which prevents me from reaching the workplace on time. Potholes and rush-hour traffic slow down rides, and trash heaps sometimes defile the lanes. I wish the civic body would regularize drainage, mend roads and clear refuse. Positives: My apartment complex here in Sector 46 was the greatest decision we ever made; it's a beautifully laid-out place. We are so centrally located, with easy proximity to both the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway and all the corporate parks along Sohna Road, so work life is a breeze. The internal markets within the sector are fantastic, and I just adore the safety and plenty of green areas, which make our evening walks such a treat. It really feels like a secure, settled neighborhood.

Negative

Negatives: But after all these years, there are some issues that still remain. The worst headache is the constant concern for air quality, particularly the severe winter smog. Also, in spite of the high society rates we pay, there are low water pressure and irregular supply in the summer. Last but not the least, Huda's slow work on repair in outer roads that encircle the sector is annoying.

This is a good area to stay, with its quick access to the HUDA City Centre. You can take the metro network from here. It will take you about 20 minutes (maximum) on most of the weekdays to reach this spot. It has made the area very well-connected and convenient for working professionals. Also, the NH-48 is near the locality, and you can also take the Golf Course Extension Road for quick access to office hubs. These are some of the good things about the localities.

Negative

I did not like the absence of planned parks and other green spaces for relaxation. Power cuts were problematic in the summer. Also, the road conditions need improvement. One season of rainfall and the roads get damaged very easily here.

I will give it a good rating, although I could not stay here for a long time. There are many projects that are being developed in the locality. Also, the prices are still doable for most people, although there is good potential for future appreciation, as per my feelings. Also, you will find the Golf Course Extension Road nearby and also the Sohna Road, and the National Highway 48. I used to travel for about 10-15 minutes each day to reach the HUDA City Centre and take the metro. It’s that accessible.

Negative

Power cuts are a big problem in some months of the year here. Also, more shops for essentials are needed, in my opinion.

Positives: I understood why individuals enjoyed this area. It was a beautiful, well-established area. The most significant benefit was the excellent social arrangement everything, be it Amity International School or multispecialty hospitals such as Artemis were located nearby, and I had smooth connectivity to major corporate parks such as Unitech Cyber Park through Netaji Subhash Marg. And the local markets, along with the greenery, gave it an extremely cozy feel. Negatives: But the daily commute had real disadvantages. Making it to anywhere in the rush hour was a nightmare because of terrible traffic jams on the connecting roads. And if it poured, waterlogging turned into a giant mess, closing off some places entirely. Lastly, the exorbitant rent for the builder floors was too high, certainly not an economical place to call home for good.

Positives: I am really satisfied with my short shift to Sector 46. It is very family-oriented, and the major attraction is certainly the close proximity to quality schools and prominent hospitals within reach. The blocks are well planned with a lot of space in between, and the big roads provide good connectivity to the Golf Course Extension Road, which is a boon for my daily commute. It is a very pleasant residential pocket. Negatives: Still, there are a few issues I encounter on a daily basis. Parking is a nightmare because it's such a crowded place. The prevailing dust and cacophony from ongoing construction in the surrounding developing areas are intolerable. Further, the maintenance of internal roads is surprisingly terrible, and the nearby vegetable markets are usually chaotic, which ruins shopping. But all in all, I'm doing just alright!

Also, new age residential societies and good markets, shops made daily life very easy. Negatives: Traffic jams, especially during rush hours. Power cuts during summer. Good schools, hospitals and local markets are available, and new apartment projects have sleek flats and options for tenants. Negatives: I have to say, traffic through crowded chowks and continuous construction can slow down mornings; parking is scarce in older enclaves; and rents have gone up recently. Positives: I have a home here and appreciate the good road connectivity to Sohna Road and NH-8, close schools and hospitals (lots of new constructions and gated communities are upcoming), and convenient transportation to office centers by car. Life here is quiet and property demand is constant, so I rate Sector 46 4 stars. Negatives: Traffic on major roads becomes congested during rush hours, and commutes become slow. Waterlogging and drainage, along with dumpsites in certain areas, are perennial civic issues after rains. Positives: I am living in this sector and it has been a solid choice. The best part is the surrounding infrastructure. We’re right near Huda Market, which has everything, and frankly, the area feels really safe, which is a big deal for my family. We’ve got some of the city’s top schools and big hospitals like Artemis close by. Plus, there are plenty of well-maintained green parks. Negatives: But look, it is not flawless. Commuting becomes inconvenient if you are dependent on public transport; there simply is not enough local bus or pooled auto connectivity to take you conveniently to the Huda City Centre metro station. And in the prolonged rains, drainage system suffers badly. We have waterlogging and some terrible potholes on the internal roads that need to be rectified at once.

Positives: I shifted out of Sector 46 after three years, and I still smile looking back at my evening strolls in the peaceful lanes. I enjoyed the small stores, cafes and reasonable grocery options were within walking distance, and schools and clinics were close at hand, so family chores were easy. Traveling to the office was fine by car or cab, and main roads connected me to downtown Gurgaon. Parks and colonies planned out kept the region feeling settled and not too crowded. Negatives: Rush-hour congestion on the main approaches tried my patience, and new work introduced dust and din for months. A few pockets experienced drainage issues with heavy rains and parking was snug close to markets. Prices accelerated quickly while flat sizes remained small.

Positives: I must say, it's a highly convenient location for people like us. The neighborhood boasts quality schools, hospitals, and regular markets nearby, which makes life easy. I like the well-planned residential complexes with parks, jogging paths, and kids' play areas. And with NH-8 and Rapid Metro stations nearby, travelling to Cyber City, MG Road, and other areas of Gurgaon is very convenient. I’ve also noticed steady property appreciation, which makes owning here feel secure and worthwhile. Negatives: One thing I would like the slightly better is that there are some older neighborhoods around here that don't have a lot of open green areas, so at times I have to go a little distance for a park. Otherwise, it feels safe here. The area is well-kept, and it's quiet enough for quiet family living.

Positives: I have been working in this sector for a long time, and I will say it to you bluntly, Sector 46 is a good option. The locality always near everything with the metro station and main roads within reach, and the HUDA Market has all amenities. With a ton of good schools and hospitals, it's actually a package deal for a family. Negatives: The only thing you’ll want to be ready for is the water. Negatives: The only negatives are the disorganised parking situation in some inner lanes and the occasional issue of overflowing garbage, particularly on empty plots.

Positives: I genuinely love the area for so many reasons. We have got excellent hospitals and schools in close proximity, and the local market has all you require. It's a lovely, peaceful residential area, yet still exceptionally well-linked to highways. It even boasts a metro station at Huda City Centre, making it exceptionally easy to get around the city. Negatives: The place is actually perfect for families. My only wish is that the authorities here would improve the drainage system because it gets a bit dirty during the rainy season. Also, the parks can use some improvement in terms of maintenance. That's literally the only thing I can come up with that needs to be improved.

Positives: I enjoy staying in Sector 46. The infrastructure of the roads is good, and I have no issues reaching any part of the city with all the key roads surrounding me. All the key hospitals, top schools, and restaurants are nearby. It's a quiet place with pleasant parks and open spaces. Negatives: Public transport is not so good here. Drainage can also pose a problem in the monsoon, with a bit of waterlogging on the roads. These some things are drawbacks according to my observation.

Positives: I reside in Sector 46. It is well connected through Netaji Subhash Marg, close to Accenture SEZ, Orchid Business and Global Foyer. Nice schools (Amity, The Shri Ram), hospitals (Artemis, Fortis), parks and HUDA Market nearby. Metro (HUDA City Centre) 5.5 km. Negatives: Peak hour traffic on Sohna/Golf Course roads, random waterlogging and potholes are actually disadvantages. Also, I think public transport is sparse.

Positives: It is a wonderful place to reside. It is well connected by big roads, and the metro is easily accessible. There are numerous parks, schools, and markets, so it's a very convenient spot. Negatives: Traffic on Sohna Road is a huge issue. It's extremely crowded during rush hours. We have some other problems with irregular water and electricity supply, as well as waterlogging.

I usually don’t choose the metro when there is an option for the bus available. From the area sector 46, there are lots of bus services which almost connect this area to every corner of the city. Also, this place is near the Mayfield Garden bus stop, which is almost connected to the rest of the city but has lots of buses. However, a handful of occurrences of theft were reported, which makes this area typically unsafe for night dwellers.

Being an owner of a 3-BHK flat at Jalvayu Vihar of Sector 46, I have to say that this area has a lot of connectivity as it is situated next to Netaji Subhash Marg, which connects it to Sohna Road. Also, there are two metro stations nearby, one is the city center metro station, and another is the sector 54 metro station. But I should also not hold back the irresponsibilities of the municipality on various issues like maintenance of the parks and greenery.

A lot of high-rise buildings, well roadways, and large shopping malls are adjacent to the area such as the omaxe celebration mall, Raheja mall, omaxe city center mall, Huda market, etc. Also, as a medical practitioner, I opted for a place near healthcare facilities. Astonishingly, this area had a lot of hospitals nearby. Some are Artemis hospital, Medanta-The Medicity, CK Birla hospital for women, cloud nine hospitals, etc.

I have been staying in this area for more than a decade. Being an employee of the ICICI Bank sector 46, Gurgaon Branch, it is convenient for me to stay here for my daily office-to-home commute. However, as I am a family person, it is also important for me to find such a place which is near several famous schools. This area has a lot of such schools like Manav Rachna international school, amity international school, Basant valley public school, etc. Also, the area has a lot of parks which are very much enjoyable for children and improve the green ecosystem of the area too.

Sector 46 of Gurgaon is one of the residential areas of the city. Also, the government has developed the locality too. I have chosen the Huda area in this locality because it is closely associated with various apartments, flats, complexes, and societies. Not only the Huda area but sector 46 is also adjacent to other developed sectors like 39, 45, 47, 51, and Jharsa Village. This place is also very close to various IT sectors like Aricent, Cognizant, etc. The society and the connectivity of this area promote me to buy a place here to live.
