Positives: I understood why individuals enjoyed this area. It was a beautiful, well-established area. The most significant benefit was the excellent social arrangement everything, be it Amity International School or multispecialty hospitals such as Artemis were located nearby, and I had smooth connectivity to major corporate parks such as Unitech Cyber Park through Netaji Subhash Marg. And the local markets, along with the greenery, gave it an extremely cozy feel. Negatives: But the daily commute had real disadvantages. Making it to anywhere in the rush hour was a nightmare because of terrible traffic jams on the connecting roads. And if it poured, waterlogging turned into a giant mess, closing off some places entirely. Lastly, the exorbitant rent for the builder floors was too high, certainly not an economical place to call home for good.
Positives: I am really satisfied with my short shift to Sector 46. It is very family-oriented, and the major attraction is certainly the close proximity to quality schools and prominent hospitals within reach. The blocks are well planned with a lot of space in between, and the big roads provide good connectivity to the Golf Course Extension Road, which is a boon for my daily commute. It is a very pleasant residential pocket. Negatives: Still, there are a few issues I encounter on a daily basis. Parking is a nightmare because it's such a crowded place. The prevailing dust and cacophony from ongoing construction in the surrounding developing areas are intolerable. Further, the maintenance of internal roads is surprisingly terrible, and the nearby vegetable markets are usually chaotic, which ruins shopping. But all in all, I'm doing just alright!
Positives: It's really a family friendly area. The locality is well planned with a combination of high rise apartments and self owned homes. Netaji Subhas Marg and Sohna Road, and Huda City Centre metro is nearly 5 km away. Locals have at their disposal beautiful green parks such as Tau Devi Lal Biodiversity Park and Leisure Valley Park, Amity International and DPS International schools, and nearby hospitals such as Artemis and Fortis. Huda Market provides convenience in the form of restaurants, shopping, and banks. Negatives: Traffic alongside Sohna Road does become congested at peak hours, and public transport within the sector is scarce. Nevertheless, with good infrastructure, security, and facilities, I give Sector 46 a good rating.
Positives: I purchased my property in this area as it is serene but still well-connected. The neighbourhood is well-planned with broad roads, parks, reputed schools and local markets, and large hospitals like Medanta are within a stone's throw. I access Sohna Road and NH8 easily, and the nearest metro is roughly fifteen minutes away, so travelling to Cyber City and other business districts is easy. Housing is available in the form of builder floors and apartments, and the area has a homely, family-like atmosphere. Negatives: There are two negatives I observe the heavy traffic at rush hours and sometimes poor footpaths and drainage leading to waterlogging during the monsoon. Parking close to busy market pockets may be cramped at times. Despite this, I am a satisfied owner of this area.
Positives: I did a lot of homework on the sectors in Gurgaon that fit my desired price point. Happy to say that I selected Sector 46. For starters, the Golf Course Extension Road (which I take to work each day) is quite accessible from here, along with the NH-48 and the Sohna Road. The HUDA City Centre metro station is just 10-15 minutes away by road, so that’s another plus point. Shops for daily essentials and restaurants are readily available for residents. Negatives: The only thing I can say is that there are sometimes power cuts during the peak summer days. This is something that the municipality should work on.
Positives: Sector 46 had extremely good connectivity: near Sohna Road, NH-48 and near HUDA City Centre metro. Schools and hospitals were around Artemis, Manav Rachna, Amity etc. Tau Devi Lal Biodiversity Park, which used to make walking pleasant. Also, new age residential societies and good markets, shops made daily life very easy. Negatives: Traffic jams, especially during rush hours. Power cuts during summer. Waterlogging and drainage after rainfall were irritating in a few areas; park sides of roads would get blocked. Noise pollution was an issue near major roads, and markets were or were crowded busy. Finally, property prices were steep large houses were expensive so unless the budget was huge, choices were few.
Positives: During my initial rainy week in this Sector, I take solace in tiny habits. I take a flat close to HUDA City Centre, and I appreciate the connectivity. Metro and NH-48, Sohna Road and Golf Course Road are all driving distances away, so my office in CyberCity and malls are accessible. Good schools, hospitals and local markets are available, and new apartment projects have sleek flats and options for tenants. Negatives: I have to say, traffic through crowded chowks and continuous construction can slow down mornings; parking is scarce in older enclaves; and rents have gone up recently. Nonetheless, everyday life is convenient, services are within reach, and the neighborhood is convenient for work and family purposes. I am safe here, and the people are welcoming and extremely helpful.
Positives: I have a home here and appreciate the good road connectivity to Sohna Road and NH-8, close schools and hospitals (lots of new constructions and gated communities are upcoming), and convenient transportation to office centers by car. Life here is quiet and property demand is constant, so I rate Sector 46 4 stars. Negatives: Traffic on major roads becomes congested during rush hours, and commutes become slow. Waterlogging and drainage, along with dumpsites in certain areas, are perennial civic issues after rains. To access big malls or nightclubs, I tend to drive out to other areas, which is a minor inconvenience. In spite of all this, connectivity, schools and increasing residential developments make it a pragmatic place to own.
Positives: Having lived here so long, I personally think Sector 46 is the ideal location to bring up a family in Gurgaon. The security you feel here cannot be beat—it's actually a very safe, high-end, and quiet area yet so central. All that we require is just minutes away: excellent schools such as Amity and Manav Rachna, Artemis Hospital, and the wonderful, vibrant Huda Market. The green parks are immaculately maintained, providing us with so-needed, peaceful space. The access to major roads is great, making it a top spot. Negatives: The sole small drawback is the premium rate, but for this quality of life, it's well worth the price tag.
Positives: I am living in this sector and it has been a solid choice. The best part is the surrounding infrastructure. We’re right near Huda Market, which has everything, and frankly, the area feels really safe, which is a big deal for my family. We’ve got some of the city’s top schools and big hospitals like Artemis close by. Plus, there are plenty of well-maintained green parks. Negatives: But look, it is not flawless. Commuting becomes inconvenient if you are dependent on public transport; there simply is not enough local bus or pooled auto connectivity to take you conveniently to the Huda City Centre metro station. And in the prolonged rains, drainage system suffers badly. We have waterlogging and some terrible potholes on the internal roads that need to be rectified at once.
Positives: I shifted out of Sector 46 after three years, and I still smile looking back at my evening strolls in the peaceful lanes. I enjoyed the small stores, cafes and reasonable grocery options were within walking distance, and schools and clinics were close at hand, so family chores were easy. Traveling to the office was fine by car or cab, and main roads connected me to downtown Gurgaon. Parks and colonies planned out kept the region feeling settled and not too crowded. Negatives: Rush-hour congestion on the main approaches tried my patience, and new work introduced dust and din for months. A few pockets experienced drainage issues with heavy rains and parking was snug close to markets. Prices accelerated quickly while flat sizes remained small.
Positives: I must say, it's a highly convenient location for people like us. The neighborhood boasts quality schools, hospitals, and regular markets nearby, which makes life easy. I like the well-planned residential complexes with parks, jogging paths, and kids' play areas. And with NH-8 and Rapid Metro stations nearby, travelling to Cyber City, MG Road, and other areas of Gurgaon is very convenient. I’ve also noticed steady property appreciation, which makes owning here feel secure and worthwhile. Negatives: One thing I would like the slightly better is that there are some older neighborhoods around here that don't have a lot of open green areas, so at times I have to go a little distance for a park. Otherwise, it feels safe here. The area is well-kept, and it's quiet enough for quiet family living.
Positives: I have been working in this sector for a long time, and I will say it to you bluntly, Sector 46 is a good option. It's an old-fashioned, well-known sector with excellent residential properties. The locality always near everything with the metro station and main roads within reach, and the HUDA Market has all amenities. With a ton of good schools and hospitals, it's actually a package deal for a family. Negatives: The only thing you’ll want to be ready for is the water. A good monsoon can sometimes make the drains overflow a bit, so you’ll want to keep an eye on that.
Positives: Residing in Sector 46 has proved to be an excellent decision for me for all these years. It's a proper locality with everything within reach. The connectivity through roads is a major advantage, and being just a stone's throw from the HUDA City Centre metro and major highways makes traveling quite convenient. The locality is replete with open spaces, which I adore for my early morning running sessions. The Huda market is a savior, where all our daily requirements range from groceries to a quick meal. And on top of that, it's a very secure neighborhood with a welcoming ambience. Negatives: The only negatives are the disorganised parking situation in some inner lanes and the occasional issue of overflowing garbage, particularly on empty plots.
