I have been living in an apartment in Uran since a few months back and I have had no complaints so far. My experience in Uran is good and I like the amiable locality. There were several well-reputed schools and colleges in the area such as Bosco English School, U.E.S School, St. Mary’s School, Veer Wajekar College, and so on. There are many temples in the locality as well.
I used to live in Uran as a child and it was a very good locality. The neighborhood was good and some of the roads in our area were well-maintained. I remember we had good access to the railway which connected the locality to Mumbai and many other important areas. The locality even had a good bus service which we often used to reach schools. Overall, my experience was good.
Being an owner living in Uran for many years, I can say that I am satisfied. I believe the locality has everything to meet the demand of the residents. I have good access to hospitals, banks, civil courts, gardens, green parks, ATMs, banks, and so on. However, the internal roads are narrow and during the monsoon season, the locality becomes very unhygienic. Other than this, I have no complaints against Uran.
Being a tenant, I have realized that renting an apartment is quite cheap in Uran, Navi Mumbai and some apartments are even available for rent under 10K. However, I feel that transportation is one of the major issues in Uran and the lack of metro connectivity and app cabs make commuting difficult for the local people. Poor road conditions lead to severe traffic congestion as well. Otherwise, the locality is good.
I have bought a property in Uran, Navi Mumbai and so far, my experience in this locality is very good. Housing in Uran is quite affordable for middle-class families. There are many pharmacies, clinics and hospitals nearby which enable us to respond quickly during medical emergencies. There are a number of restaurants and eateries in the area and on the weekends, we like to dine out or even visit the malls.
