Wakad, Pune Reviews

Positives: I picked Wakad since it was near to the IT hub Hinjewadi. I worked at one of the huge corporations there, therefore my daily commute was quite brief. With its superb connection through the Mumbai Highway and the future Metro Line 3, the region seemed ideal for working professionals. Essential facilities such Lifepoint Hospital and excellent schools like Akshara International were readily available. Reflecting its popularity, the rental market was always booming.

Negative

Negatives: Serious water scarcity concerns were always present. Obtaining enough, excellent water was a daily fight. Furthermore, the general cleanliness was bad, and I often noted garbage collecting, notably close to internal roads, which was really repulsive.

Positives: Living here as a renter, I am fairly happy because Wakad is ideally situated close next to Hinjewadi's corporate centers, which is a big time-saver. With the Mumbai Highway access and the future Metro connection, connectivity is excellent. Right nearby, we have excellent hospitals like Lifepoint and schools like EuroSchool. The rental rates are much more reasonable than at locations such as Baner. This area is rather energetic and youthful.

Negative

Negatives: The irregular water supply we sometimes encounter, particularly in times of dryness. In addition, the ongoing building causes terrible air pollution, and I have observed some interior spaces seem to lack illumination at night, hence posing safety issues for walkers.

I am really happy with my Wakad investment; the property value growth has been amazing given its advantageous position near the Hinjewadi IT center. Confirming my first choice, the area has amazing, contemporary amenities including dependable utilities and extensive internal roads. Here, we feel quite safe; the neighborhood boasts a vivid city aesthetic. The Pune Metro Line 3 will enable easy travel going forward. Leading institutions such as Ryan International and great hospitals like Lifepoint are easily accessible. The maintenance of public green areas, which should be improved for community use, is the only area needing work. Wakad presents a great residential and economic alternative.

Positives: Initially drawn to Wakad's safe and mostly inexpensive living surroundings, my family then became interested in it. Connecting to major roadways is simple, and it is quite comforting to have important services like Surya Mother and Child Care nearby. The general growth is strong and the access to educational facilities like Indira National School is great. Living here is satisfying because of the kind community attitude.

Negative

Negatives: Some public services need rapid action, nevertheless. First of all, local feeder public transportation needs great expansion of frequency. Second, all housing levels should have improved garbage management systems installed. The pressure on the local water supply, last, sometimes changes suddenly.

The unmatched convenience and communal spirit of Wakad makes me absolutely love living there. From great eateries to vital shopping malls such as Xion Mall, everything I require is right here. Access to healthcare is great; nearby is Surya Mother and Child Super Speciality Hospital, which helps me feel really at ease. Though it is a bustling center, we gain from numerous parks and thick green covering that offer soothing respite. The eventual connectivity from the planned Metro Line 3 will make commuting across Pune simple, a future I look forward to. Here is the perfect environment for working professionals: a bright, safe, modern community. Better emission control is needed to urgently address the existing air pollution levels in some small regions.

In Pune, Wakad is certainly a great place for investment. Its close proximity to the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Hinjewadi ensures ongoing demand and great returns. While the Mumbai Highway now has excellent connection, the forthcoming Metro Line 3 connecting Hinjewadi to Civil Court will guarantee significant future appreciation. With institutions like Lifepoint Multispecialty Hospital and top-rated local schools, social infrastructure helps families live. Long-term investing or quick occupancy find great homes in the area's varied housing inventory. The future of Pune lies here mostly. For sustained community success, though, the local government has to solve the ongoing problem of insufficient water supply affecting everyday life across many societies.

Positives: Few years ago I relocated to Wakad, and it really feels like living in the center of modern Pune development. Through the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, the area is very well connected to Hinjewadi IT Park, Baner, and Balewadi. Daily commuting is significantly simplified by the Wakad Chowk metro station. Life is easy with hospitals such as Lifepoint Multispeciality and schools nearby as EuroSchool and Akshara International. Because many IT specialists want to stay here, the neighbourhood has excellent rental returns as well.

Negative

Negatives: Better public parking spaces and more effective traffic management during peak hours are the only two areas I believe require improvement; congestion may occasionally get tiresome.

Positives: As an owner, Wakad is the perfect spot for me since I am right next to Hinjewadi IT Park, which offers excellent work convenience. Nearby, excellent schools like EuroSchool and hospitals such Lifepoint Multispecialty Hospital have fostered the development of the area. Especially with the Mumbai Highway and the planned Metro line raising future value, we have excellent connectivity.

Negative

Negatives: Many times our water supply is insufficient, something that worries people very much. Some inner lane roads still have obvious potholes requiring faster maintenance. Finally, local authorities have to deal with the pollution levels, which are sometimes an issue owing to the surrounding industrial activity.

Choosing to reside in Wakad was the wisest move I made. Being Pune's leading IT corridor sets it apart. Its great closeness to the Rajiv Gandhi InfoTech Park in Hinjewadi is the main USP. Working locally warrants the somewhat steep rental prices. The Mumbai Highway offers great connectivity; the suggested Metro Line 3 would improve access even further with Wakad Chowk as a main hub. Nearby are Xion Mall and Lifepoint Multispecialty Hospital, among other excellent choices; the general neighbourhood is really secure. But there is a recurring difficulty with insufficient water supply and air pollution problems that the local authorities urgently need to solve.

Positives: My working years were spent at Wakad, which was ideally suited for an IT professional such as me. Living there seemed dynamic because to my great nearness to Hinjewadi Infotech Park, therefore simplifying my daily travel. In addition, the neighbourhood had strong social infrastructure with well-known colleges and multi-specialty hospitals nearby. Additionally, good future development was guaranteed by the connectivity along the Mumbai Highway and the planned Metro project.

Negative

Negatives: But the fast growth stretched the already overburdened municipal infrastructure, so making living difficult occasionally. Wakad still has to quickly alleviate traffic, fix the ongoing insufficient water supply and quality, lower air pollution from nearby sources, and repair the ubiquitous potholes on the internal roadways.

Positives: Living in Wakad makes me rather content! It seems crucial because I picked this location nearby the Hinjewadi IT centre. Near the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, the connectivity is excellent. Here, we have institutions like EuroSchool and top hospitals such Surya Mother and Child. The Metro Line 3 will be really helpful. Rent is reasonable and investment returns are excellent.

Negative

Negatives: Still, some items require effort. First of all, particularly on the major streets, rush hour traffic is dreadful. Second, more adult enormous parks or running tracks may be used. At last, though most of the time it seems secure, I have heard of recent car thefts and small street incidents; so, we really require greater police presence.

For any young professional, Wakad is easily a 5-star investment; its proximity and direct connection to the large Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park in Hinjewadi make it the ideal residential center for the biggest IT companies like Infosys and Wipro. With great access via the Mumbai Highway and the upcoming Pune Metro Line 3, which will further improve travel, it is centrally positioned inside the Pimpri Chinchwad region. Top-notch social infrastructure includes hospitals like Lifepoint Multispeciality, schools like EuroSchool, and shopping malls like Xion right next to it. The region is usually secure and has excellent rental yields from high demand. Maintaining the liveability index requires our urgent attention to the bad water supply problems and overall air pollution issues.

Positive

Positives: Since it was just adjacent to the Hinjewadi IT Park, Wakad was perfect for me because my daily trip was quite simple. Compared to neighboring Baner, this seemed like a young, energetic, and extremely varied neighborhood with inexpensive housing. Essential amenities were great. Nearby we had a number of wonderful establishments including Snbp International School and Lifepoint Multispecialty Hospital. The proposed Metro Line 3 offered better future connectivity. For working professionals, it was a pleasant and practical location.

Negative

Negatives: Inadequate water supply in the neighborhood sometimes created issues and forced people to depend on water tankers. Because of the region's dense growth and near industrial zones, air pollution was quite apparent.

Positives: Living in Wakad for several years, I have really seen it change. Sitting next to the Mumbai Highway, our neighbourhood is very connected. The future Metro Line 3 from Hinjewadi to Civil Court offers amazing public transportation. Nearby high-quality schools such Akshara International, Lifepoint Hospital, and Xion Mall shopping available. Its location close to Hinjewadi IT Park makes it the perfect place to live. I adore the green pockets we still have and feel quite secure here. It's a lovely, welcoming neighbourhood I strongly advise.

Negative

Negatives: Every day, we fight traffic gridlock around Bhumkar Chowk during peak hour. Moreover, we continue to struggle with subpar, dependable water supply requiring a permanent resolution.

This amazing place appealed to me when I purchased my house there for its excellent connectivity, modern infrastructure, and proximity to major business centres and lifestyle conveniences. I am certain about value and comfort given the future subway expansion and broad roadways. Being back home in minimal time after stepping outside for a fast shopping excursion or café visit is my most loved element. More green open areas inside the residential developments and more constant water supply throughout peak summers are two little things I would like to see changed. Still, I really advise Wakad as a place to live and invest.

Positives: I liked Wakad's contemporary atmosphere right away when I moved here some months ago. With immediate access to adjacent centres like Hinjewadi and Bane,r as well as great road connections via the Mumbai–Pune Expressway (NH-48), it is well situated. Malls are not far; nearby are schools like Wisdom World School and hospitals like Lifepoint Multispeciality Hospital. The rental prices are fair for what you get, and the lifestyle connects well with my IT job, so I am at ease here. When traffic is low, my favourite time is evening walks following work.

Negative

Negatives: Two items, I must say, could use some work. Although public transportation alternatives seem restricted, some peak hour traffic along the main road grows infuriating. I would advise this area generally.
