Sector 62 is a major residential area in the northern part of Noida. Demand for property in Sector 62 has always been quite high owing to the comparatively affordable property prices in the area. Sector 62 is a prime location in Noida and is a well planned sector with proper segregation of commercial and residential zones. Sector 62 lies in the Gautam Buddh district of Uttar Pradesh and lies around 20 kilometres away from Delhi and 24 kilometres away from Greater Noida which is the district headquarters. The Yamuna Expressway, NH-24 and other major thoroughfares ensure great connectivity for residents to Delhi and several other business destinations. Sector 62 will also have the extension of the Blue Metro line soon. The NH-24 connects the area to East Delhi while the nearest metro stations are the Noida City Centre which is easily accessible and the Kaushambi and Vaishali stations. As per of the extension, the Dwarka-Noida City Centre route will be extended till Sector 62 and then till Greater Noida. The Sector 52 station will be the interchange station for accessing trains going till Sector 62 and other parts of Greater Noida.
This extension will connect Noida almost entirely with the very heart of Delhi and is one of the longest corridors in the Delhi Metro network. It will also offer great connectivity to the Electronic City and several other business hubs. Reputed educational institutions like the National Institute of Biologicals, IMS, Indian Academy of Highway Engineering, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, ICAI, IIM Lucknow’s Noida Campus, Symbiosis Law School, MAF Academy, Karl Huber and Father Agnel School are located in and around the area. There is also a training college for banking professionals in the area.
Sector 62 is home to several leading companies including Samsung, IBM, PineLabs, Barclays Shared Services and Miracle among others. Unitech Infospace and the Steller IT Park are major business hubs in the area while there are several BPOs and software companies operating here. Almost all major Indian banks have their branches in Sector 62. The area is also home to the Health Village and Patanjali Stores and offers access to the Fortis Hospital. Property prices have gone up by approximately 1.55% in the area as per Q3 2015 and average prices stand at around INR 5, 897 per sq. ft. here for the same period.
