A fun fact is that A.R. Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory is also situated here.

Two areas that need to be worked on are chronic monsoon waterlogging and drainage, and heavy traffic with parking congestion in central roads. I quite like the experience of staying in central Chennai. Kodambakkam is one area that has a lot of history and filmy connections (suits me, since I’m a film buff). Negatives: Massive traffic congestion forms the day's grind, especially on Arcot Road. The locality has a severe shortage of dedicated and large open green recreational spaces for citizens. The roads and drainage require significant, persistent improvement for better management of the high-density population in the area.
