The highly anticipated 'Missing Link' project on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway is set to be inaugurated on May 1, significantly reducing travel time by approximately 30 minutes and enhancing safety. The 10.5-km stretch features tunnels and a bridge, bypassing the accident-prone Khandala Ghat. This infrastructure upgrade is expected to ease traffic congestion, improve travel safety.

MMRDA Accelerates Atal Setu–Mumbai–Pune Expressway Link Project, Targeting February 2027 Completion

MMRDA has made significant progress on the 7.35 km Atal Setu–Mumbai–Pune Expressway connector. With foundation and girder works advancing, the project is on track for completion by February 2027. This will enable signal-free travel and faster connectivity between Mumbai and Pune.

A total of 13 out of 34 launched units have been booked as of December 2025, including 35% of 1 BHK(6 out of 17 units), 41% of 2 BHK(7 out of 17 units).

Structural Works reach 100% completion, External Works has reached 100%, Internal finishing stands at 100%, MEP Services including lift and staircases, are now 80% done.
