This ensures access to several major areas in the city and can be accessed through the Marve Road which is another major road for residents. The road finally ends at the Madh Island Lands End. The Malad railway station is easily accessible from Malad East while the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is just 10-12 minutes away which is a major advantage for residents to say the least.

Rani Sati Marg is another major road that has been improved and widened. This also connects the Malad East subway to the Western Express Highway. The Khandwala Lane is a DP Road linking the Daftari Road and Dattamandir Road.

Leading educational institutions like the St Francis School, Vidya mandir, St George High School, JDT High School and St Joseph High School are located in and around the area in addition to hospitals like the Dr. A.G. Mansoori Charitable Trust, Hayat Hospital, St Mary’s Maternity & Surgical General Hospital, Kripa Hospital and the Municipal Hospital among others. Malad East offers great connectivity to several shopping malls and centres in and the D’Souza Market is a major shopping centre here. Property prices have gone up by approximately 3.92% in the area as per Q3 2015 and average prices stand at around INR 14, 641 per sq. ft. here for the same period.
