I have been there in Daund, Pune for four years and I moved on to Kolkata for my new job a few months ago. There I stayed alone but I have never faced any type of difficulties while staying there alone. I must admit that the locality of Daund is very safe and the air pollution level is very low which is good for our health.

My locality is surrounded by greenery and a few big trees are standing beside the road and they all together create a magical atmosphere for the visitors. Some old heritage temples are situated in our locality and people from various places come to visit them.

The basic amenities like schools, colleges, shopping malls, clinics, and local grocery shops are located nearby. Some good sweet shops are situated in my locality and the sweets are very tasty and reasonably priced.

There is a market in my locality from where I can get various fresh fruits and vegetables. But the roads of my area are not well maintained at all and the drainage system is also not clean and that causes several health issues.

Whenever I get some free time I do visit several bookstores and collect books as per my preference. No metro service is available in this area and that is problematic sometimes.
