The wisest choice was to relocate to Indiranagar. My favourite feature is the never-ending variety of fashionable restaurants and cafes on 100 Feet Road, which wonderfully contrast with the quiet, tree-lined suburban lanes. The Purple Line Metro's connectivity is a lifesaver; my work journey is very calm and stress-free as a result. Even walking home late, I always feel secure here; most of the residents are well educated and professional, which helps to foster a good, friendly environment. Better traffic management for the extreme congestion seen on the main commercial stretch on weekends is the only service I think might be better. Still, this place is very suggested given its sheer utility and energetic vitality.
I confidently suggest Indiranagar to consumers. It feels active but worn-in at Bangalore's center. Access to metros and main roadways simplifies travel. Good supermarkets, shops, taverns, and cafés abound. Within a brief journey are leading hospitals, schools, and entertainment venues. Here, property retains value and draws in businesses, professionals, and immigrants. Depending on the area, rents are consistent and returns are modest to good. It often stated at three to five per cent, lower in ultra-premium routes. This makes it ideal for both living and long-term investment. One area to focus on improving is pedestrian areas and public green spaces. Its vigour delights me, and I think it offers purchasers great value over time.
Positive: Staying in Indiranagar is an outright joy. As a tenant, I enjoy the unmatched connection the Metro Purple Line provides. it makes my trip to work quite simple. The excellent 100 Feet Road culinary scene of the area is the main benefit. I discover a new cafe or restaurant every week. Moreover, it feels really secure and the parks give much-needed green cover. For anybody wishing for a dynamic, central Bangalore existence, I really suggest this place.
NegativeNegative: A genuine irritation and need of better flow control is the heavy traffic on the major roads during evening peak hours. I have also seen that some interior residential neighborhoods experience severe monsoon water logging, hence requiring enhanced drainage systems.
Positive: Living in Indiranagar was quite convenient. Only a few kilometres from major hubs such as MG Road and Koramangala. Commuting was easy and hassle-free due to the metro station. Schools like National Public School and Clarence High School were within reach. Hospitals like Chinmaya Mission Hospital and Manipal Hospital provided peace of mind. There were bustling shopping streets and malls nearby, which contributed to the vibrancy.
NegativeNegative: Although most of the necessary services were at hand, it was more difficult to find larger affordable houses or peaceful pocket areas. Additionally, some of the side streets and residential pockets exhibited wear and were behind in their maintenance, so certain areas of the locality seemed slightly less polished.
Positives: As an owner I chose Indiranagar because it's just so centrally located and feels very secure, even late in the evenings. The Namma Metro connectivity is a savior for my traveling, linking me effortlessly everywhere. My favorite thing to do is jog in Cornerstone Park, and having hospitals nearby, such as Motherhood, makes me feel reassured. It's pricey, sure, but the absolute convenience makes it worth the costly rent.
NegativeNegatives: Frankly, the worst part is the acute traffic congestion, particularly on 100 Feet Road and during weekend pub hours. Moreover, the parking arrangement is worse. The inner residential streets are now clogged with commercial vehicle parking. We need immediate attention on controlling this growing commercial encroachment.
Positives: I've been staying in Indiranagar and I really like this area. The presence of a metro station nearby makes traveling easy, and I also feel secure walking back home in the evening due to well-lit streets and police patrols. The combination of old bungalow houses and newer apartments lends the area character.
NegativeNegatives: There are a few things that bother me. Traffic rush hours can be close to unbearable, particularly near 100-Feet Road. I have also observed rent going up consistently year after year, which makes it harder to feel safe staying in the long run. I would have liked more effort to go towards minimising noise in residential areas and enhancing parking and road space.
I am over the moon at getting an opportunity to stay in Indiranagar. I find it to be the poshest locality in all of Bangalore. My reasons include the elite businessmen, CEOs, professionals, and celebrities staying here, along with the tree-lined yet big roads, and the commercial cluster. This is where Indiranagar shines, with all the pubs, cafes, restaurants, event spaces, lounges, and retail stores you can think of! It’s so well-put together that you’ll feel that you’re in Singapore. At least, that’s what I first felt when I started staying here. Yes, there’s a little parking trouble every now and then due to so many establishments in the area. However, amenities and infra-wise, there’s no better place to stay!
Indiranagar is possibly one of the best places to stay in Bangalore. I can safely say this, because of its strategic location. You get access to popular zones like MG Road, Koramangala, and other parts of Central Bangalore, in addition to several places through the Namma Purple Line. Also, the people here are well-educated and cosmopolitan. The area is a posh one, which is visible as you see all the mansions and plush complexes. I love walking along the broad footpaths, while taking in the cool vibe all around. One area of improvement is the road conditions. There are potholes in a few stretches.
I love staying in Indiranagar. It is one of the best places to live in Bangalore, especially for central connectivity. I work in Koramangala, and it takes me just 20-25 minutes to get there, while the MG Road shopping hub is only 17-18 minutes away from the location. The Namma Metro Purple Line access is also there, and all other social amenities are top-notch, to say the least. There are so many pubs, bars, and nightlife hangouts, along with some of the city’s best restaurants. Also, you will find several luxurious residential complexes here, along with well-developed communities. The only issue I can mention is the traffic congestion and noise due to the presence of several commercial establishments here.
Positives: I feel comfortable here, and I can say it justifies the hype. I like the prime location and convenient metro access, so I get to offices and malls promptly. The roads are filled with cafes, tiny shops and green oases where I stroll in the evenings. I am safe most days due to active resident associations and frequent patrols. I find the place buzzing and buzzing with business.
NegativeNegatives: I also see a few actual issues that require repair. Rents seem high for most. Footpaths and by lanes are frequently narrow or encroached. Traffic and parking become unruly around 100 Feet Road on weekends and busy nights. In general, I still like living here for the energy and convenience I get.
Indiranagar is very centrally located, while the footpaths are wide and a treat to walk around. Toit, like many other famous pubs, is situated here, while there are many other music venues as well. The Purple Line of the metro has two stations for connectivity, while cabs are also available at all hours of the day and night. My child studies at the National Public School nearby, while healthcare centres, supermarkets, and other amenities are also abundantly available throughout the neighbourhood.
NegativeI just wish that the civic authorities would look into the water supply levels. It goes down to a trickle in the peak summers at times. Also, the presence of so many commercial establishments does lead to parking troubles and crowds.
I absolutely LOVE Indiranagar. This is like the cream-de-la-crème of the city, and you will notice it immediately upon entering the locality. Funnily, I am a late entrant to the neighbourhood and spent a mini fortune for the privilege of living here. I am happy to state that it has been a glorious time indeed! I am really passionate about dining out and cafes, and this neighbourhood never fails to fascinate me. You get really good brew on tap, live music across genres, lip-smacking grub, and some event or pop-up happening every other day. The feeling of living here is very similar to what I experienced while staying in Sydney in the past.
I enjoy living and selling houses in Indiranagar. It remains vibrant day after day. The locality combines green residential enclaves with the vibrant 100 Feet Road lined with cafes, restaurants and stores, so residents find lifestyle and convenience in one walkable distance. Metro and good BMTC connectivity makes traveling to the city and offices convenient. Schools, hospitals and clubs are within reach. It's the community's value, and real estate here is upscale because demand remains strong. I tend to take clients through tree-lined streets and tight apartment units well suited for professionals and small families. Two areas I'd like to see corrected are the constant traffic jams and scarce parking on major roads, and local streets and drainage patches that need improved maintenance.
I love living in Indiranagar and am proud of my locality. This area is one of the most walkable stretches in Bangalore, with its wide roads and footpaths. Of course, it’s also very happening, what with the tons of bars, nightclubs, pubs, cafes, restaurants, and a lot more. My friends and I hang out at Bob’s Bar and Toit, while there are several live music and event venues worth checking out here too. And of course, we’re pretty much near the Namma Metro Purple Line, with two stations to use. From the National Public School to the Chinmaya Mission Hospital, plenty of social amenities are available in the area. Water supply issues are a big civic problem that needs to be fixed in Indiranagar.
I purchased my flat here and truthfully it is just perfect living in Indiranagar. We are so centrally located, and the Namma Metro is a godsend for commutes to my office near Bagmane Tech Park. The entire locality renowned for its amazing eating and startup culture which keeps our property price appreciating so beautifully. Despite all the commercial hype, the residential alleys are secure and surprisingly verdant, which I treasure. We strongly recommend this neighborhood for the quality of life it provides. The only big plus that requires improvement is the ongoing necessity for the city to upgrade the storm water drainage system on the main thoroughfares to finally cut out waterlogging during rains.
I have loved staying in this area. The power cut problem is not there in the neighborhood, and also, the residential communities here are friendly. Quite a few parks and green spaces for children, and the roads are very walkable, which is a rarity in many other parts of Bangalore. Chinmaya Mission and other hospitals are nearby, along with reputed educational institutions like the National Public School. The metro station is very accessible and makes commuting to several localities immensely convenient. Of course, everyone already knows how the area is a buzzing one with so many pubs and cafes along with shops and more.
NegativeNow, of course, the only thing I can say in terms of negatives is the traffic congestion that is always there on the 100 Ft. Road and other main access points.
Indiranagar is one of those classic areas which gives you that premium or posh vibe. I have lived here for several years, before I had to move out somewhere closer to my workplace. I have only happy memories of my time here. Indiranagar is very safe, with well-built layouts and roads, the policing is also good here. Plenty of quirky and fun event spaces, lots of pop-ups happening regularly, multiple restaurants and cafes, along with fun bars. Nightlife is happening and live music lovers will be in for a great time. Toit was my favorite hangout here on almost every weekend evening. Just taking a stroll along the locality is a delight. Civic amenities are good enough and power cuts are rare. Just wish that they have improved the water supply situation, but the rest is all top-class.
Positives: I'm a tenant of Indiranagar and it's wonderful. Having Purple Line Metro station here makes connectivity to any IT hub or business district easy, even MG Road. I enjoy the ideal balance of high-street business and quiet residential life. The greens are a relief amidst the hustle-bustle. And, the roads which have so many good restaurants and cafes within walking distance.
NegativeNegatives: Inner roads are battered with crater like potholes due to incessant civic work. We badly require improved drainage and sewage system, as heavy rainfall entails unavoidable flooding and overflowing drains. My biggest safety issue is uncontrolled encroachment into the footpaths. Vendors and vehicles parked along them compel me to walk on the main road every day.
Positives: I reside in here. I'm really happy to have a flat purchased here. Good schools such as National Public School, Indiranagar and Sir C.V. Raman General Hospital within proximity. The metro station is nearby. The green avenues and comfortable parks, provide that peaceful residential ambiance, while fashionable cafes and boutiques along 12th Main and 100 Feet Road make it a contemporary vibrant area.
NegativeNegatives: There are Insufficient streetlights or well-made footpaths in narrow lanes. The green cover and tree-canopy are fine, but dust from under construction work has been visible in the developments around our locality. Moreover, even with good facilities, some local hangouts still lack smoother waste management and maintenance of old structures.
Positives: Indiranagar is good for go out each morning for a stroll down leafy bylanes, get coffee at 100 Feet Road, and have numerous shops, pubs, schools and decent clinics around. Indiranagar and Swami Vivekananda Road metro made commuting convenient. Property price appreciated quickly, so it was a good investment too.
NegativeNegatives: But there were some things that annoyed me during my stay. Clamor of pubs became very common and noisy. Traffic and parking were a nagging nuisance on major roads. Drain and sewage pipes, suffered during rains, flooded and waterlogged occurred. Segregated trash, chocked drains, overflows. And some roads were dug up and not restored properly, footpaths were uneven or broken.
I have been a tenant in Indiranagar for some years, and I really like living here. The cafes, the shops, and the pubs are nearby. Connectivity-wise, the Indiranagar Metro station makes it so much quicker to get to MG Road, Whitefield, or other areas of Bengaluru. The tree lined roads of HAL 2nd Stage are serene even though they are within the city. Schools, hospitals, supermarkets are within easy reach. Rent is high, so flats are maintained well and are modern. The only thing that I feel can be improved upon is traffic during rush hour, which is horrible, particularly along CMH Road and 100 Feet Road. Nevertheless, I strongly suggest residing in Indiranagar.
Positives: The connectivity is good, metro station, Vivekananda Road, Old Airport Road all make travel easy. Schools are of highest quality like National Public, New Horizon, etc. good hospitals around the corner, and so many restaurants & nightlife areas on 100 Feet and CMH Road. Also, even though in the midst of everything, lots of inner lanes have trees, green pockets and much quieter ambiance.
NegativeNegatives: Price is quite high here, both for purchase and for rent, particularly for good flats near metro or main streets. Also, civic matters, drainage sometimes overflows during rain, and footpaths/pavements are often encroached or damaged, making walking uncomfortable in certain areas.
Positives: I truly feel proud to reside here. My life here truly wonderful experience for me. I like the fact that everything from good schools such as New Horizon Public School and National Public School, good health care at CV Raman and so on. There are lots of shopping and food options on the 100 Feet Road. The proximity of the metro station makes travelling through Bangalore so easy. There are parks and cafés in the area, further enhancing its beauty. The social infrastructure is great.
NegativeNegatives: But there are a few things that can be improved. Irregular water supply affects some areas, and some streets require improved street lighting for night safety. Although the majority of facilities are top-notch, additional community areas or parks would further enhance the locality for families.
Positives: As a new tenant, it has been a dream to settle down in Indiranagar. The way of life here is purely unbeatable. I adore that cosmopolitan vibe! Each weekend, I can take a leisurely walk to the legendary 100 Feet Road to grab a coffee at a new cafe. My office commute is easy with the Indiranagar Metro station, and the residential boulevards feel safe.
NegativeNegatives: In spite of the expensive rent, the standard of living is amazing. Residents like us continue to be plagued by issues such as patchy water supply in certain areas, which is a big problem. Further, the inner lanes, which are quieter, literally call for improved street lights for security reasons, and we still have too frequent short power cuts when weather conditions are adverse.
Positives: I had previously stayed in Indiranagar for a number of years, and I recall it as a really lively place to live. I enjoyed waking up on tree-lined streets in HAL 2nd Stage and strolling towards cafes, and speciality shops along the iconic 100 Feet Road. The metro stops (Indiranagar and Swami Vivekananda Road) also made travel extremely convenient. Schools and hospitals in the vicinity were superb; I used to praise CV Raman Hospital's service and like the number of options that I had for learning. Low-rise flats and green patches like Defence Colony provided a good combination of peace and dynamism. Social life was vibrant with restaurants, bars, and numerous more. Something that I had desired was a more consistent water supply in certain blocks, and periodical power outages irked me.
Positives: I reside in this lovely locality and I adore its greenery surrounding the area. I quite enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere and convenient proximity to 100 Feet Road's cafes, boutiques and vibrant nightlife. My flat is within walking distance of the Indiranagar metro station so travelling to offices and malls is speedy, and good schools, clinics and parks are easily accessible. Tree-lined avenues, green oases, vibrant cultural clubs and high levels of security make life here really enjoyable. Properties are top-class and well-serviced. But I think the main road traffic during rush hours can be heavy and parking is usually a problem. Also, prices and rentals are steep compared to other localities. I think better traffic management and cheaper parking would make it an even better place.
Positives: I reside in a flat here, and I particularly love being here. On the positive side, I can say that all the things I need are within reach, from great schools and hospitals in the vicinity, plenty of cafes, pubs, and convenient metro stops. The atmosphere is a charm, but some inner roads are quiet with trees and patches of green. Property here has good value.
NegativeNegatives: However, some drawbacks irk me. The traffic is atrocious, particularly on 100 Feet and CMH Road during rush hours. Most of the restaurants and shops spill over onto roadways and pavements. The roads in the smaller alleyways are lined with potholes or are under construction. And during heavy rainfall, some places get flooded terribly. I would like the civic maintenance to be more regular so these issues would be addressed.
Positives: I'm residing in Indiranagar currently, and overall, I am quite satisfied with it. It's a nice balance of city life and comfort. The connectivity is top-notch, with the metro in addition to good bus connectivity, so I can get to other areas of Bangalore quite quickly. The foodie/entertainment scene is vibrant. The neighbourhood has plenty of cafes, pubs, restaurants, and boutiques. Also pleasant that there are good schools and decent hospitals around.
NegativeNegatives: On the negative side, there are cons I face every day, such as rent is extremely high, even for humble flats. Some flats have room spaces that are smaller, particularly the older ones, so it feels cramped. I find water supply is a problem at times, in some areas. Also, at times, hygiene or garbage disposal isn't up to mark.
Positives: I stayed in Indiranagar for several years, and in general, I was very satisfied with the experience. There were certain things that made living day-to-day very enjoyable: great connectivity through the metro and buses, proximity to large roads like Old Airport Road and MG Road spared me commute hours. There were great schools and hospitals within walking distance, a lot of cafés, restaurants, and places to relax.
NegativeNegatives: But there were drawbacks that I kept running into. Firstly, the price of living and particularly rent was quite high. Secondly, I notice that most older buildings or 1-BHKs did not have proper parking, and street parking was scarce. Thirdly, in case of heavy rain, there was waterlogging in low-lying areas, and sewer/drain maintenance was sometimes slow. Fourthly, commercialisation implied noise and congestion in most streets.
Positives: I've been living in Indiranagar for several years now as a homeowner, and all in all, I am very fortunate to be here. The advantages are numerous: the metro stops (Indiranagar and Swami Vivekananda Road) make travelling much easier. The 100 Feet Road and surrounding major roads provide us with great connectivity to MG Road, Old Airport Road, and other areas of Bangalore. There are great hospitals (CV Raman is nearby), decent schools, plenty of shops, cafes, etc.
NegativeNegatives: But there are drawbacks, which I also encounter regularly. To start with, some regions lack organised supply and rely on tankers. Second, both noise and air pollution are actual concerns. Third, drainage and sewage facilities require improved maintenance. Waterlogging occurs during the monsoon, and garbage disposal occasionally falls behind.
I have lived here for quite some time before I moved out for a transfer. What I can say is that it is probably the poshest part of Bangalore. I mean that feeling is visible when I used to move around the locality, especially the 100 Feet Road. Nightlife was rocking, with so many pubs and restaurants. And of course, there is the option to access Koramangala and MG Road quickly without falling into huge traffic jams. Another thing that is present today is the Indiranagar metro station, which has helped ease connectivity as I am told by my former neighbors.
NegativeDuring my stay, there were two things that bugged me. The first one is the lack of a proper parking if you’re out for an evening or so. Used to go to my local barber and the roads were always full of cars due to the pubs and cafes. Also, another thing I noticed was the waterlogging every time it rained. Not done for such a posh locality.
Positives: I shifted here for a brief period. I liked its active rhythm since day one. I used to walk down 100 Feet Road with its restaurants, cafes and intimate pubs. The area had two metro stops, such as Indiranagar and Swami Vivekananda Road. Therefore, I was able to access offices and malls in no time. Small parks, good schools within proximity and welcoming local shops assisted me in settling down sooner. Negatives: The negatives were rents, and shop prices were high. It made living day by day more expensive. Additionally, traffic and limited parking on major roads were very stressful for me. Late-night sounds from bars occasionally interrupted sleep. Nevertheless, I departed with good memories of tree-lined avenues, decent food and neighbours who seemed like friends. I would suggest a short visit to anyone interested.
Positives: As soon as you enter 12th Main or 100 Feet Road, you realise the buzz is an unmatchable lifestyle. The Purple Line Metro provides us with incredible connectivity, along with world-class social infrastructure such as Chinmaya Mission Hospital and great schools right on our doorstep. This lively, central location is the reason why properties retain such high value. Negatives: There are two things which every purchaser inquires about. One, the traffic, particularly 100 Feet Road at peak hours, is truly congested, and parking on the road is an ever-present pain. Two, the investment is heavy. Indiranagar is still one of Bangalore's most upscale and pricey localities. Nevertheless, I rate it a full five stars.
Positives: I just shifted to this area, and I feel that the locality is happening and is easy to live in. The locality has a lot of cafes, pubs, and restaurants, so on weekends it is absolutely great. I love the fact that 100 Feet Road is crowded with shops and restaurants, and the area is easy to navigate with the Indiranagar metro station. There are also decent hospitals, such as CV Raman and schools nearby, which give me relief. Negatives: On the negative side, traffic is a nightmare during peak hours, and the water supply is unreliable at times. Power outages occur from time to time, and some of the streets are not well-lit at night, which is not comfortable while walking. Additionally, rent is very expensive here, which digs deep into the pocket.
Positives: For me, Indiranagar has always been a dream location. When I could finally buy property here, it seemed like I had achieved something in life. I was always attracted to that 100 Feet Road, with the pubs and cafes and the rocking events. Now I stay near it and enjoy the lifestyle here, which truly is upmarket and quite at par with posh localities in Mumbai and all. Also, I like the pavements here, which are more walkable than many other places in Bangalore. My office is in Koramangala, which is less than half an hour away. So, yes, all good overall. Negatives: The crowds are never-ending, and sometimes the noise. Also, the parking issue. Getting a slot is a nightmare, even if I’m a local.
Positives: I shifted to Indiranagar for my job two years ago and felt right at home with its green avenues and busy cafes. As an owner, I adore the combination of old Bangalore bungalows and new apartments, proximity to credible hospitals and quality schools, vibrant nightlife on 100 Feet Road, restaurants that serve quality food, boutiques, and the Indiranagar Metro, which makes commuting easy. Neighbourhood atmosphere is secure, pet-friendly and ideal for nighttime strolls. For weekend activities, I stroll to the nearby Koramangala, spend time at pop-up markets. I also enjoy convenient delivery and easy access to city centre offices. Negatives: Limited parking along commercial areas, occasional disturbance from late-night pubs are some negatives. In spite of increased property rates and mounting maintenance, I still prefer to live here due to the spirit of community.
Positives: I enjoyed its vibrant 100 Feet Road with restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. The place was young and vibrant, and I could easily walk to most places to eat or hang out with friends. 100 Feet Road was the main hub for dining and shopping, I really love this area. I also had convenient travel to other areas of Bengaluru since the Indiranagar metro station was within reach. Negatives: But life there had its drawbacks. Rents and housing prices were high, so my budget was stretched tight. Parking was frequently an issue, and some roads were extremely busy at rush hour. I sometimes longed for quieter, leafier neighbourhoods. All in all, it was thrilling but far from perfect.
Positives: I came here for employment and rapidly fell in love with Indiranagar's vibe. I am a renter on a peaceful side road, but the 100 Feet Road action is within minutes. I love convenient travel due to the metro (Indiranagar and Swami Vivekananda Road stations) and regular buses; cafés, pubs, and office spaces make nights exciting. There are good schools and hospitals such as CV Raman and Chinmaya Mission near by, and daily commodities are readily available, hence life appears to be convenient and up-to-date. Negatives: As a tenant, I rate it 4 stars. Drawbacks include steep rent and living expenses, traffic during peak hours and sporadic waterlogging during monsoon. Water supply and parking issues affect some interior lanes. Despite this, robust social life, good connectivity and quality facilities justify residing here.
Positives: This area is like the core of East Bangalore. As a property owner here, I have great lifestyle benefits. The 100 Feet and CMH roads provide me with convenient proximity to cafes, restaurants, stores and nightlife, and there are two Namma Metro stops (Indiranagar and Swami Vivekananda Road) within this area. There are good schools, clinics and some nice parks nearby. Negatives: I find housing here to be pricey in relation to much of Bangalore, as reflected in price lists. Traffic along main roads becomes congested during peak hours, and parking is a nightmare. The airport is not nearby, about thirty to forty minutes to an hour's drive. In spite of these, I love Indiranagar as home.
Positives: I purchased my apartment in Indiranagar years back, and it was an excellent decision—investment of a lifetime! Here, the appreciation is wild because the life is unparalleled. It's the pulse of the city, with top-end restaurants, fashion boutiques, and the nightlife is incredible. We are excellently connected; having the Indiranagar Metro station here makes travelling to MG Road or Whitefield easy as pie. The social infra is best in class; nothing is too far away to walk to—parks, banks, and quality schools are near. It is extremely convenient and secure, with a consistently high rental yield. Negatives: The one negative is the parking; it's a nightmare near 100 Feet Road, but that's a price worth paying for staying bang in the middle of Bangalore.
Positives: I enjoy the convenient proximity to Golf Course Road and Sector 55–56 Rapid Metro. My workplace at Cyber City is an easy drive and metro commutes are convenient. I prefer malls and day-to-day shops nearby (Mall Fifty-One/Ardee mall area), and schools and clinics within a short drive, making everyday life easy and convenient. Negatives: I also encounter genuine headaches, such as drainage and sewer issues lead to waterlogging during heavy rains, and certain market stretches and link roads deteriorate with potholes and dust due to constant construction. Parking is cramped in congested pockets, civic maintenance seems tardy, and intermittent sewage/cleanliness issues irk me as a tenant.
Positives: From personal experience staying there, Indiranagar was a wonderful place to be. It was constantly populated with people and contained everything you could possibly need. The metro accessibility was a godsend, and I recall how simple it was to locate good restaurants and cafes. The 100 Feet Road was the central attraction, always vibrant with malls and pubs, and I never once felt unsafe, even late at night. Negatives: But it wasn't ideal. The worst headache by far was the traffic, particularly on the weekends. It was complete chaos attempting to drive anywhere. I also remember the water quality being problematic in some spots, and parking anywhere reasonable was a daily battle. Despite all its positives, the traffic at times detracted from the serene atmosphere I was seeking out.
Positives: Being a home owner, I can tell you with absolute certainty that residing in Indiranagar has been an excellent choice. The nightlife is unmatchable. 100 Feet Road has an excellent blend of fine dining, cafes, pubs, and lounges. Its great metro connectivity and locality to major IT centers make daily travel surprisingly convenient. It has excellent schools and hospitals. It has plenty of parks and tree-lined avenues, making it peaceful-looking despite the activity. Negatives: The sole actual downside, from the point of view of a homeowner, is expense. Being such an upscale area, property prices and general cost of living are fairly high.
Positives: I have to say, as far as location goes, Indiranagar is an absolute winner. It is a full-fledged lifestyle destination, not merely a living space. We have got our top pubs and eateries on 100 Feet Road, alongside peaceful, tree-lined residential areas. The metro connectivity is a huge advantage, allowing us to move around the city with ease. For a property agent, this is a goldmine due to the high and consistent demand and solid rental yields. I love this place. Negatives: The only concern I hear at times is the persistent cacophony of commercial shops and the rising cost of living.
Positives: Man, I have been staying in Indiranagar for a while now, and it's been wonderful. As a home owner, I must say this area is all about convenience. We've got everything within reach, like the best restaurants, pubs, and coffee shops are just walking distance away on 100 Feet Road. Also, we are very well connected with the metro and main roads, and it's safe even at night. The social life is excellent. Negatives: I would say the only true drawback is how costly everything is here. Having a place is wonderful, but living here can be a little sticker shock. Parking is a nightmare at times, too, particularly around the popular areas.
Positives: I have to say, Indiranagar is a game-changer for living. The connectivity to the metro stations and the broad roads is excellent. I am able to commute to any part of Bangalore quite easily. The plus point is the atmosphere here. There is something or the other to do with all the pubs and restaurants around, and you've got everything from grocery stores to hospitals at your doorstep. Negatives: The one thing that actually annoys me is the traffic. It is crazy, particularly after work. Parking is a perpetual pain as well.
Positives: I am satisfied with the active 100 Feet Road with cafes, pubs, boutiques, good hospitals and schools, metro stations (Indiranagar, Swami Vivekananda Road). Also, the proximity to MG Road and Old Airport Road is excellent. Negatives: Big issues I have ever encountered, such as traffic on 100ft and CMH road, parking is limited, and rentals are very high.
Positives: I like living here due to the excellent metro connectivity and the good vibe. There are so many shops and cafes at walking distance, and proximity to IT hubs is a big advantage. Negatives: But rush hour traffic is a nightmare. We also experience the occasional power outages and water shortages, and the living expenses here are high.
Positives: Living here is really convenient. The metro makes it easy to travel to the IT hubs, and with so many pubs and cafes, the social scene is incredible. The bustling 100 Feet Road, a convenient commute with Indiranagar and good schools and hospitals nearby. Negative: My only issues are rush hour traffic and how costly it is. The rent is really expensive.
Positives: Living here for some time and my takeaway is that it's a good place to stay if you can afford it! Quite costly due to posh nature of area and also the multiple retail stores, pubs and cafes on the stretch. MG Road is also quite near and so is Purple Line. So that's why costs is higher I feel but lifestyle is very good. Also, inner roads have loads of green spaces and it's actually a nice area to walk in. Personally I find safety and overall civic infra decent in the area which is expected due to location benefit. Metro and BMTC buses are available and cab is also possible even late at night without problems. Power cut is not frequent and parking is not an issue since most societies have good provision for it. Negatives: Some flooding issue is there when it rains. This was not there previously but I think sewer line needs to be unclogged to fix it. Also, traffic congestion is something I face in peak office hour, especially in the Old Madras Road and CMH Road. Noise level is also there till late due to so many commerical establishments.
Positives: One good thing I appreciate is the easy access to Purple line. So, commuting is really good for us and also another thing that the MG Road is also nearby. Lots of shopping options and we go there almost every weekend. Buses are also available here and locality is quite posh in nature. High cost but I think overall worth it since you got so many pubs and restaurants nearby if you love the socializing lifestyle. Hospitals and all are nearby also. Negatives: Still some work to be done in terms of policing and public safety. Some blind spot is there in the area and crime has taken place. although not much, it is still something to be looked at seriously, considering so many HNWIs live here. Also, flooding during monsoon is another issue while sewage has to be improved. Water crisis is sometimes there in peak season so that's another aspect to be looked into.
