What are the documents required for an NRI to sell property in India?

An NRI needs a copy of the property title deed, the selling agreement, a NOC from the housing society, tax receipts, and, if necessary, a power of attorney to sell a property in India. In addition,NRIs must provide information about NRE/NRO bank account and PAN card, get RBI permissions, and hire a barrister or estate agent to assist with the paperwork and sale procedure.
