I'm considering buying a house in a gated society, and need advice from you guys. Image : https://ibb.co/PvXC7nf7 The property I'm looking at is a corner house (marked with a red border), located at the end of the road, and having gate facing perpendicular to house direction. There's another (green-bordered) property nearby, valued at X rupees per square yard. On Right side of this society is a School ( this house will share its back boundary with that school). Questions: If the green property is valued at X per sq. yd., what should ideally be the value per sq. yd. for the red-corner property, given its location at a road end ? How much should i negotiate are these (red one) property valued lower compared to normal ones (green one) ? What are the real-world pros and cons of buying a corner property at a road end in a gated society (especially in India)? Please share practical experiences with privacy, parking, resale value, maintenance, and any issues faced. Looking especially for experiences from people who have bought such properties or have seen price/demand differences for end-corner units vs. normal units. Thanks in advance !
