Does NRI have to pay service tax in property buying in India?

From July 1, 2017, there is no longer a service tax in India. In India, sales of under-construction properties are subject to GST. You must pay the same amount of GST as a regular customer even though you are an NRI. Depending on the property kind and location, the GST rate changes.
