Pune Ring Road Eastern extn Gets Green Light :₹10,502 Cr Project

Maharashtra Cabinet Committee has approved the revised cost of ₹10,502.36 crore for the eastern extension of the Pune Ring Road. This 31.805-km controlled-access expressway aims to divert traffic away from Pune city. With 80% of land acquisition complete, the project is slated for completion by June 2029

A total of 1 residential transactions has been registered so far for Shree Laxmi Vihar, amounting to ₹ 1 Cr till August 2026.

Pune Metro Infrastructure to be Integrated with Upcoming Road Corridors

MSIDC and Pune Metro are set to sign MoUs to integrate Metro infrastructure with two upcoming road projects. Approximately 7.7 km of the Kharadi-Shirur elevated corridor and 17 km of the Hadapsar-Yavat elevated corridor will be developed as double-decker structures, with the upper deck designed to accommodate future Metro lines.

Pune Metro's Phase 2 plans include approximately 22 km of integrated double-decker flyovers across the city. These corridors will feature six-lane and eight-lane elevated roads.
