Pune Municipal Corporation Plans Rs 2000 Crore Infrastructure Upgrade for Merged Villages

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is set to undertake significant infrastructure development in 32 merged villages, with an investment of approximately Rs 2,000 crore. This initiative, supported by the World Bank, Central Government, and Maharashtra Government, will focus on improving water supply, sewage networks, roads, and stormwater drainage.

Pune Infrastructure Projects Advance Amidst Civic Concerns over increased FSI

Pune Metro Line-3 is targeting station readiness by March 31, 2026. The Pune civic body has approved major infrastructure projects worth ₹2,500 crore, including a pollution abatement project for the Mula-Mutha river & SPPU chowk flyover for Ganeshkhind Concerns are also rising about the environmental impact of Pune's building boom due to increased Floor Space Index (FSI), in fast developing localities esp Aundh ,Bavdhan , kothrud, Pashan & Baner.

Structural Works reach 88% completion, External Works has reached 80%, Internal finishing stands at 85%, MEP Services including lift and staircases, are now 45% done.

External Works has reached 30%, Internal finishing stands at 18%, MEP Services including lift and staircases, are now 25% done.

A total of 40 out of 63 launched units have been booked as of April 2025, including 63% of SHOP(40 out of 63 units).

Structural Works reach 80% completion, Internal finishing stands at 5%, MEP Services including lift and staircases, are now 10% done.

Structural Works reach 55% completion.

A total of 38 out of 63 launched units have been booked as of November 2024, including 60% of SHOP(38 out of 63 units).

A total of 37 out of 62 launched units have been booked as of October 2024, including 60% of SHOP(37 out of 62 units).
