Positives: The extensive marshland and birdlife surrounding Pallikaranai make it unique. Though the IT centres in OMR and Velachery are not distant, I believe they are not entirely in the city centre. I am renting since my workplace is close to OMR, and public transportation lets me get there. I like that a few schools and Dr Kamakshi Hospital are reachable in brief drives. Velachery MRTS is the closest rail station.

Negative

Negatives: For the size of flats here, I find the rents a little too high. I also think that rain might occasionally cause waterlogging; not walking distance, some services like massive retail malls are just a little drive away. The better roads in the neighbourhood will be welcomed.

Positives: Living in Pallikaranai appeals to me since it allows me a quiet home life with green marsh views. I like how buses and the neighbouring Velachery MRTS simplify trip for my office as well as other districts. The link to Old Mahabalipuram Road and Tambaram, I believe, allows me to easily get to work and shopping centres. I sense the area has shops and schools nearby.

Positives: I am a content Pallikaranai homeowner. This neighbourhood provides me everything I need very nearby, I suppose. Buses allow me fast access to Velachery as well as other Chennai areas. I value the proximity of great grocery stores and Dr Kamakshi Memorial Hospital. Weekend visits to OMR and Thoraipakkam are simple to get to. Walking here in the mornings makes me feel safe. At neighbourhood restaurants and close-by Velachery stores, I like eating out.

I am leasing here for my job in Chennai, and I can easily go to work without lengthy commutes. Walking close to the wetland green spaces makes me feel secure, and for the room I have, I think the rent is rather reasonable. I believe the area is inexpensive when compared to others. The roads close to the swamp, in my opinion, flood in the monsoon, and I hope the drainage will soon be better.

Positives: Around a year ago I lived in Pallikaranai and found the ease especially appealing. My preferred place for morning strolls and bird viewing was the Pallikaranai Marshland Park. I spent most of my free time there. For me, the best aspect was the link because my Perungudi office hub was just a quick ride away along the Radial Road. Reaching famous sites like Jerusalem College of Engineering or the Balaji Dental College used to be simple. For my family, the surroundings seemed serene and secure.

Negative

Negatives: The Velachery-Tambaram main road's heavy peak-hour traffic had me a bad encounter. I think the authorities should promptly address the trash dumping problems and enhance the road quality.

The marshland's green draws my attention.

Negatives: I dislike the absence of public parks. I suppose the fundamental issue is the lack of streetlights and safety concerns on inland roads. I believe the levels of hygiene and road dust have to be modified fast. For me, the most upsetting aspect of life here is the constant power outages.

Positives: Reaching OMR and Velachery easily, Pallikaranai's position is very useful. Having the Velachery MRTS station close by and top medical facilities like Kamakshi Memorial Hospital was quite pleasing. For my daily commute, I often rode the shared autos and local buses. Most of my weekends were spent buying and entertaining at the Phoenix Marketcity.

Negatives: During the rainy season, the terrible flooding and waterlogging let me down considerably. Major issues there, I thought, were the inadequate drainage and the garbage pile-up. I believe the smell from the garbage yard and the threat from mosquitoes must really be changed. The absence of pure drinking water in the neighborhood was the most aggravating encounter I had.
