Why should people live near Bengaluru’s city centre?

Bengaluru has fast become a real estate hub of the country and ever since it has become a major destination for the IT companies, there has been a significant surge in the population. As a result, housing needs have also gone up and there are a number of good opportunities for home buyers here. The entire city is developing rapidly and yet, the city center remains to be a prime location and everyone dreams of having a home here. The close vicinity to the MG Road and the Brigade Road has numerous advantages and the region is almost saturated because of which the price here is very high well.

In spite of this, some leading real estate giants have announced projects here and that has garnered quite a lot of attention. Moreover, if such a project was spread over a few acres, the residents would enjoy a pollution free environment in a gated community. The thing is that Bengaluru is a city where people work day and night and spend most of their time in the workplaces and so living away from the city center could mean losing out on a number of advantages for sure. It would cost more to commute and would be time consuming in all that traffic.

The city has seen a rapid growth since 2000 with the IT boom and the cosmopolitan crowd wants all the advantages on the fingertips. The city has since been planned accordingly and office places, commercial complexes and shopping centers, entertainment zones and concert halls are placed in close proximity so that the young crowd could hang out. There are many healthcare facilities here as well and hence when all these factors are combined together, the city center becomes the most coveted as well as the most expensive piece of land in the region. The IT sector is of course the reason why the city enjoyed such growth. 92 million sq feet of land is under the IT sector, making it one of the highest in the country. About 35% of all the IT companies in India have their offices here, along with a number of multinational firms, Indian tech giants, and many other MNCs.

Apart from that the city center has the best connectivity and all the key locations can be very easily reached. The buses from all over the city have their stops here and the upcoming metro rail will further ease commute. The city center already has a number of schools and colleges because of which the number of properties that are let out to students on rent are also high, and the rent is very high as well, with most students living in doubles and triples to make up for it. The close proximity of medical facilities is another advantage and staying here would of course be a dream come true for many in the city.
