The following documents are commonly required for obtaining an EWS (Economically Weaker Section) certificate:

1) Income Certificate: A valid income certificate issued by the competent authority is usually required to establish eligibility for the EWS category. This certificate verifies that the applicant's family income falls within the prescribed limits set by the government.
2) Identity Proof: A government-issued identity proof such as Aadhaar card, voter ID card, or PAN card is generally required to establish the applicant's identity and residency.
3) Residence Proof: Documents like a residential address proof, such as a utility bill, rent agreement, or property documents, are often needed to establish the applicant's residence.
4) Caste Certificate (if applicable): If the applicant belongs to a specific caste or community, they may be required to provide a caste certificate issued by the competent authority.
5) Passport-sized Photographs: Recent passport-sized photographs of the applicant are typically required to be submitted along with the application form.
