Being a long-time resident of Kolad, I can say that the locality is safe. The traffic police play an important role in maintaining the roads and occasional police patrolling has made the neighborhood safer. There are two bridges in the locality connecting Kolad to other parts of the city. The local people have very good access to public transport including railway connectivity and some of the roads are well- maintained.
