Living here for a few years now, I realized that in terms of connectivity and conveyance. We have access to everything that is necessary-from daily needs to luxuries. The place is close to the airport, railway, malls, and market. For my children, I can provide a good education for students. The neighborhood experiences moderate pollution. Kolad is connected to all the major points of the city via railway and cabs.
There was a time when I used to live in Kolad with my parents before moving to Mumbai for work. My experience in Kolad was very good. I remember daily commuting to school and it was never difficult due to the availability of public transport. Even the markets were very close to my apartment and I had never experienced issues like shortage of water power cuts. I am very satisfied.
I have been living in Kolad since childhood and I think the locality is very convenient and the residents have access to all the necessities as well. The environment is very good and the neighborhood is amiable. The locality has good connectivity and the railway station connects this place to many other major points of the city. There are many good schools nearby along with markets, groceries, clinics and hospitals.
Being a long-time resident of Kolad, I can say that the locality is safe. The traffic police play an important role in maintaining the roads and occasional police patrolling has made the neighborhood safer. There are two bridges in the locality connecting Kolad to other parts of the city. However, there is no metro connectivity and it is difficult to find an auto or cab at night, making commuting difficult for the local people.
I have been living as a tenant in Kolad for a few years and this is a great place in terms of connectivity and conveyance. The local people have very good access to public transport including railway connectivity and some of the roads are well- maintained. However, the number of minor crimes is increasing rapidly and cleanliness has also been a major issue over the past few months. Besides these, I have no complaints.
