BMC Sets Deadlines for Key Infrastructure Projects: Vidyavihar Connector, GMLR Phase 1, and Mankhurd Flyover to Open Soon

BMC has announced completion targets for three significant infrastructure projects. The Vidyavihar east-west connector is slated to open by August 31, the first phase of the Goregaon-Mulund Link Road (GMLR) by September, and the Mankhurd-Maharashtra Nagar flyover by May 31, 2027. The highly anticipated 'Missing Link' project on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway is set to be inaugurated on May 1, significantly reducing travel time by approximately 30 minutes and enhancing safety. The 10.5-km stretch features tunnels and a bridge, bypassing the accident-prone Khandala Ghat. This infrastructure upgrade is expected to ease traffic congestion, improve travel safety.
