Real estate agencies are businesses, collectives, entities, companies, or groups, which facilitate the buying, selling, renting, or management of properties, land, homes, and buildings. They function on behalf of the property owners or property buyers. These agencies are comprised of individual real estate agents and other personnel helping to arrange and facilitate real estate/property transactions. They get a percentage of the purchase/sales value of the property as their commission. Agencies are required to be licensed/affiliated to regulatory authorities as per varying regulations in different States, cities, and countries.
