Ans. There are over 3000 people who have applied for 1012 flats and 500 plots will be allotted with flats and lands through a lucky draw for four days organized in various parts of the state of Jharkhand.

Ans. At Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand and the lottery has been scheduled here for August 20.

Ans. About 8,300 people bought the application forms for the allotment of houses and out of that 3331 people have submitted their forms. The board will organize lotteries to allot flats or plots of land to them

The flats are between 298 sq ft and 2100 sq ft and they are in four categories like economically weaker sections (EWS), lower-income group (LIG), middle-income group (MIG) and higher income group (HIG). The price ranges between 3.4 lakh and 4.1 lakh. The plots of areas ranging between 612 sq ft and 5000 sq ft cost in the range of Rs3.67 lakh and 18 lakh. Interested people have submitted 10% of the price of the selected flat or plot of land along with the application. This deposit will be refunded if their names don’t appear in the winners’ list of lotteries. The lucky winners will have to deposit 25% of the cost of the property of their choice within a month. The last date for submission of form was July 30 which has been extended till August 9.
