Juhu is very well known as the Beverly Hills of Bollywood. It is home to many Bollywood celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Hritik Roshan, Dimple Kapadia, Anil Kapoor, Govinda, Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Raveena Tandon, Anupam Kher, Rani Mukherjee, Fardeen Khan, Mahesh Bhatt, Yash Chopra, Rakesh Roshan, Hema Malini, Mithun Chakraborty, Vidya Balan, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Ameesha Patel, Zayed Khan, Paresh Rawal, Shakti Kapoor, and Vivek Oberoi. 

Juhu beach is the main tourist attraction. People from around the country visit the beach. It is located 18 km to the north of the city center on the shores of the Arabian sea. And it stretches for 6 km till Versova. It is popular for shooting films and hanging out with loved ones. The beach is one of the city's most popular spots for the annual Ganesh Chaturthi celebration. Here, thousands of devotees arrive in massive processions to carry idols of Lord Ganesh of various sizes immersed in beach water.

What’s great about Juhu?

Juhu has all forms of public transport, from government buses and local trains to the metro. One of the best road infrastructures with many flyovers. The streets are well-maintained, and there is no garbage on the streets. Juhu has many good schools within walking distance, making it easy for children. Sarla Hospital has a neurology department in Mumbai, and most of its beds are in intensive care units. Juhu Market is known for its fresh produce and fish markets. Juhu is crowded and lively until late at night. Juhu has a large number of streetlights evenly spaced from each other. The Juhu Police Station is just inside the town. KinderKnowledge & Forest Park is an ideal playground for children, with lots of rides and a large playground. Juhu is very clean because it is a famous tourist spot here. There are trees on both sides of the road, so there is not much pollution. Andheri's MIDC office is near this location. The Western Express Highway also runs very close to the village.

What’s not great about Juhu?

Buses and local lines are always crowded. There are almost no pedestrian crossings near traffic lights. There are potholes all over Juhu. Most of the selected hospitals in Juhu do not have ambulance support. Many shopping malls face parking problems and are often full on weekends. Hotels in this area are quite expensive. Night taxi fares are quite expensive. In Juhu, few cases of purse theft have been reported. The park closes at 8pm, which is too early for Mumbai. As this is a prime location, there is a lot of noise pollution in the area. The cost of living here is a bit high for a single person.

Andheri metro service will be extended to Dahisar as Phase 4 metro. Many industrial companies are expanding their operations in the region. A new trail will be built near Juhu Beach for cyclists. Additional public toilets will be installed near Juhu Beach.
