The neighbourhood is quite appealing for working professionals and feels central because of its excellent access right on Old Mahabalipuram Road. I am nearby to IT parks like Ascendas. Reflecting its prime position and great social infrastructure, rents are rather expensive. Near to Perungudi Railway Station and the Little Mount Metro Station. With Apollo Speciality Hospital close, healthcare is first-rate; shopping is simple with Phoenix Marketcity only a brief journey away. It is an extremely secure environment. Two gaps exist, though, common water stagnation from inadequate interior drainage during monsoon seasons and sorely needed well-kept public parks and green areas.

Negatives: The conspicuous dearth of limited green areas in the major housing clusters calls for more tiny parks. Positives: Thanks to its closeness to the IT corridor, which saved so much commuting time, I relocated to Perungudi. Getting around was easy thanks to the OMR and regular bus routes as well as the Perungudi Railway Station. Closeness to the Pallikaranai Marshland offered a green getaway and the best memory. Essential services were always on hand, getting groceries from D-mart was simple. Apollo Speciality Hospital was nearby. Though not inexpensive, I found this to be a place worth visiting.

Negative

Negatives: One problem was the significant noise pollution, particularly closer to the main thoroughfares, which made calmer living difficult. Limited green areas and parks immediately inside core residential districts restrict easy access to basic recreational locations.

Positives: Being on the OMR IT corridor means my commute is simple, and the Perungudi MRTS station is rather helpful. Although Little Mount is the nearest operational Metro, the future Metro Phase 2 station will be stunning. With Apollo Speciality Hospital OMR close by, the healthcare is top-notch. We have access to important venues like Phoenix Marketcity. For families, good schools like St. John's Universal are an added advantage. Surprisingly green for an IT centre. Buying here is strongly advised given the future Metro Phase 2 connections and highway.

Negative

Negatives: The only two areas needing work are the very high OMR peak-hour traffic congestion and the subpar stormwater drain maintenance on numerous interior streets.

Positives: The direct link of Perungudi to the great IT corridor makes my journey to Tidel Park rather simple; I feel extremely central here. With the OMR route directly there and the Perungudi MRTS station offering simple train access, connectivity is great. Phoenix MarketCity nearby provides simple access to shopping in what seems like a safe, excellent location. The fast access to work is absolutely my top feature, and I advise every working professional it.

Negatives: Two things, however, need particularly good administration. First of all, the great OMR rush hour traffic congestion is maddening and unavoidable. Second, because water stagnation and localized flooding are frequent issues throughout the monsoon season, the internal drainage system needs major repairs.

Positives: Living in Perungudi was a dynamic experience, especially since I worked on the OMR IT Corridor. The nearest to job hubs was its largest benefit. Well-maintained roads and excellent public transportation, including the Perungudi Railway Station, made up good infrastructure. Nearby, we possessed all. Good hospitals like Apollo Speciality, decent schools, and stores render my family's everyday life quite easy.

Negatives: But the quick development presented its own set of challenges. Because of the enormous traffic on OMR, traveling during peak hours was a daily challenge. High noise levels, constrained public facilities outside the IT parks, sparse green spaces, and daily traffic bottlenecks are among the downsides needing immediate attention.

Positives: I just relocated to the neighborhood of Perungudi. Along the OMR/Old Mahabalipuram Road, which links several IT parks and commercial centers, connectivity with lies. For the area, rental rates are rather affordable and the surroundings have a lot of current apartments. Schools and hospitals are nearby, and being near the city yet in a little calmer neighbourhood was why I selected this location.

Negative

Negatives: Although some interior lanes have drainage and waterlogging problems following strong rain, many roads are good. Given the number of structures, also, green open spaces that is, parks are fewer than I had hoped for. Moreover, although the region is mostly safe, the presence of significant industrial or commercial areas nearby causes some traffic and noise at rush hours.
