Does the NRI have to pay GST in property buying in India?

Absolutely, when buying residential or commercial ready-to-move-in or under-construction real estate in India, NRI purchasers must pay the same amount of GST as any other buyer. However, the GST rate will change depending on the property purpose, size, and location. The acquisition of completely constructed properties is exempt from Tax, nevertheless.
