Godavari Drinking Water Supply Scheme Phase 2 & 3 Works Accelerated

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board has directed construction agencies to expedite works on the Godavari Drinking Water Supply Scheme phases 2 and 3, with a target completion date of October 2027. This acceleration involves deploying additional working groups and increasing manpower and machinery.

A total of 19 residential transactions has been registered so far for Vasavi Sky City, amounting to ₹ 79 Cr till August 2026.

Telangana Government Plans 150-Acre Mega Bus Terminal Near Shamshabad Airport

The Telangana government is developing a 150-acre Mega Bus Terminal near Shamshabad to create an integrated transport hub. This facility aims to accommodate increasing bus traffic, reduce the entry of heavy diesel buses into the city, minimize pollution, and ease traffic congestion in central Hyderabad. This terminal, will be located in Bahadurguda village near RGIA.

Vizag Set to Become Major Sports Hub with New Integrated Sports Complex

Visakhapatnam is poised to become a major sports hub with the development of an integrated sports complex, similar to Gachibowli in Hyderabad, on 25 acres in Kommadi. The complex will include a dedicated stadium for disabled sportspersons. Bheemili MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao made the announcement, emphasizing the state government's focus on promoting sports in the region.
