Living in Lower Parel makes me really happy since everything I require is just a stroll away. Remaining close to my office in Peninsula Business Park keeps me in check. Daily for my travel, I use the Lower Parel railway station and the Monorail; the new Aqua Line 3 metro at Acharya Atre Chowk is a major benefit for me. Global Hospital is very well-known and close for medical needs. My work drives my decision to rent here, and the ambience of the luxury towers draws me. This area is really expensive for a commoner; it is definitely not economical. Finally, the noise from ongoing construction and the congested walkways truly irritate me, so I believe the pedestrian paths need immediate modernization.

Lower Parel is the very hub of the Mumbai social and business scene. I find the change from ancient mills to opulent buildings quite amazing. For quickest travel, I advise using the monorail and nearby train stations. For residents, I view great advantages in top institutions such as J.J. Academy and Global Hospital. The local people are helpful and kind and make the place safe for all.

Negatives: bad hygiene in the ancient chawl regions. One major disadvantage is the absence of cheap public plants. I am quite concerned about the government repairing the waterlogged roadways and the damaged footpaths. For tiny rooms, the exorbitant rent irritates me most of all.
