Worli is one of ’s most premium and expensive residential destinations. One of south Mumbai’s premier residential areas, Worli has always been a dream for many city dwellers. Worli is one of Mumbai’s biggest commercial hubs in addition to being a prime residential area. Worli is bounded by the areas of Prabhadevi and Mahalaxmi in the north along with the Arabian Sea and Haji Ali. Worli is well connected to the Bandra-Kurla Complex and the Airport on one side and the Central Business District including Nariman Point on another. The Worli-Bandra Sea-Link spans 5.6 kilometres and runs over the Arabian Sea, linking south Mumbai to other Mumbai suburbs. This Sea-Link brings down traveling time between Worli and Bandra to around 20-30 minutes as opposed to 60-90 minutes earlier. Worli is well connected to the Elphinstone, Dadar and Mahalaxmi railway stations. The planned monorail project will boost connectivity to several suburban locations as well. The flyover will also make commuting to the CBD a breeze. The Mumbai metro project is another boon for the area.

The Bandra-Worli Sea-Link is a part of the proposed Western Freeway that will connect Nariman Point to the western suburbs. The Haji Ali-Worli Sea Link is a proposed bridge that will link these two areas over the sea. This is also part of the Western Freeway project. This is slated to get the first ever cloverleaf interchange system in the country along with being the first ever DBOT (design-build-operate-transfer) basis project undertaken by the MSRDC. There are several reputed educational institutions in and around the area including Little Star, Marathi High School, Babasaheb Gawde English Medium School, Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar School, Vantage Institute of Financial Market and the WLCI College.

Leading hospitals like the Poddar Hospital, ESIS Hospital, Big Medical, People’s Mobile Hospital and the Bosco NH and ENT Research Centre are also located here. There are several star hotels in the area including the Hotel Granville, Hotel Galaxy Avenue and the Four Seasons among others. Property prices have gone up by approximately 2.74% in the area as per Q3 2015 while average prices stand at around INR 42, 855 per sq. ft. for the same period here.
