I left Byculla for my mother's transferable job purpose and I spent six long years here with my parents. Being a former resident of Byculla I can say that my locality is very comfortable for staying. I have never faced any difficulty while living in this place. A local market is established in my locality and a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables are there in the market at affordable prices.

I have rented an apartment near Byculla to stay with my grandfather for the last two years. My neighbors are very helpful and friendly. There are several tea stalls in our locality and a few well-known restaurants are also situated there. But the roads are not well maintained and there were no spread breakers in the middle of the roads to prevent several road accidents.

The metro station is not so far from my locality and that saves time to travel. But my locality is very congested and noisy, which is very disturbing.
