Northern Bangalore is witnessing rapid real estate development on the back of commercial development. The growth witnessed in overall connectivity and absorption of office space has led to increased residential demand in this zone as well. There are more choices in terms of available housing units or prospective buyers in this belt as well.

The International Airport at Devanahalli has sparked the development and rise of retail, residential and commercial sectors in Bellary Road, Hebbal, Doddaballapur and Yelahanka. The areas around the National Highway 7 have also benefited from the setting up of the International Airport. The 6 lane Bellary Road offers signal-free access till the Airport and areas near it have attained the limelight for a long time now. The area extending from Hebbal to Yelahanka is witnessing the rise of several residential complexes, apartments and other layouts on account of easy access to the airport via the Hebbal flyovers. There are two upcoming business parks and other commercial developments, which make these areas great residential choices.

The widening of the Bellary Road and future connectivity through the PRR (Peripheral Ring Road) which has been planned, has made this area great for residential purposes. This will link Hosur Road, Tumkur Road, Magadi Road, Mysore Road, Old Madras Road and Bellary Road. The new airport terminal is being built and this will also generate higher employment in the zone, thereby boosting demand for residential property.
