Godrej Properties, one of the country’s foremost real estate development companies, has confirmed its entry into a partnership agreement for building a premium residential project at Pune. The company, which is the real estate division of the well-known Godrej Group, will develop a big-ticket housing project at Mamurdi in Western Pune. The project will cover a whopping 59 acres of land.
Godrej Properties has not announced the name of the project partner as of yet. The project will be offering approximately 4.5 million sq. ft. of saleable area as per the company’s official statement. The company has also added two new projects at Bangalore in the recent past. The company works on a sustainable model where it ties up with owners of land for developing realty projects.
The project site at Pune is located advantageously near the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and is also located in close proximity to major commercial and business hubs like Hinjewadi, Wakad and the Pimpri-Chinchwad automobile industry hub. According to the Executive Chairman at Godrej Properties, Pirojsha Godrej, the company is delighted to add this premium new project to its portfolio in Pune. He emphasized on the emergence of Pune as a vital market for future growth and talked of how this decision is in sync with the company’s mission of enhancing its market presence in leading realty hubs of the country.
Godrej Properties is presently developing commercial, residential and township projects which cumulatively cover a whopping 147 million sq. ft. across 12 Indian cities.
