A metro railway corridor spanning 10 kilometres will soon be opened between Hi-Tec City and Ameerpet by the end of December as per the latest reports. HMRL (Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited) is reportedly executing work in a timely manner. The 30 km corridor between Nagole and Miyapur has already been inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi out of the 72 km elevated Hyderabad Metro Rail project.

16 kilometres have been made functional between LB Nagar and Ameerpet in September 2018 and the Hyderabad Metro now encompasses 46 kilometres, becoming the second biggest metro railway network after Delhi. The Hyderabad Metro Rail project has won several awards and comes with several unique innovations both in terms of finances and engineering.

The project also features some key tenets such as land pooling, unique revenue generation blueprints and solid structural design as per the Union Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs. Metro services will soon be launched till Hi-Tec City station and this will give a major impetus to surrounding real estate markets along this entire stretch. There will be monthly passes introduced soon with concessions given for extra convenience. The Hyderabad Metro Rail is also working to introduce a combined pass ticket which will enable travel through the metro network and TSRTC city buses along with other public transport facilities. This also boost overall liveability of several areas. Hi-Tec City is home to several premium residential real estate projects including Cybercity Marina Skies, Legend Nirvana, Ramky Repose and Golden Gate Golden Habitat among many others.
