Rebate on Property Tax

  • One time rebate of 30% is allowed to those property owners who clear all their property tax dues/arrears within 45 days of notification of the rates.
  • Rebate of 10% to those assesses who pay their total tax for the assessment year by 31st July of that year.
  • All building and land attached to any religious property like temple, gurudwara, mosque or church are exempted from property tax.
  • 50% rebate given to state government buildings other than the building of(boards/corporations/Undertakings/Autonomous bodies)

    • Go to the official website of the Municipal Corporation
    • Then, click on the property tax tab
    • Either you can enter your unique property ID or your locality, owner’s name and property address
    • Then on the next screen, all the tax details will come
    • After checking the amount, Click on Pay tab to make the payment online through Credit/debit card, net banking
    • After payment, it will generate a payment receipt that can be used for future reference.
