Square Yards has achieved unicorn status after raising ₹900 crore from institutional investors at a valuation exceeding $1 billion. The company, which operates across property transactions, home loans, interior solutions, and property management services, is also preparing to launch its Initial Public Offering (IPO).
The funding round was led by EAAA Alternatives, with participation from global corporate credit manager Muzinich & Co. According to the company, the capital raised will be used to strengthen its balance sheet, expand operations, and invest further in technology infrastructure.
The latest round values Square Yards above its previous funding round in December 2025, when the company raised $35 million at a valuation of $900 million. Since inception, the company has secured $150 million in equity funding.
The announcement follows a year of strong financial performance. During the last fiscal year, Square Yards reported revenue of ₹2,086 crore, recording a 48% year-on-year increase. EBITDA rose to ₹176 crore, reflecting a 3.7-fold increase over the previous year.
Commenting on the development, Tanuj Shori, Founder and CEO of Square Yards, said, “This significant capital raise from such esteemed institutional partners is a profound validation of our resilient business model and our relentless pursuit of revolutionising the real estate ecosystem.”
He further stated that Square Yards has built a profitable, scalable, and fully integrated platform over the years. Speaking about the company’s future plans, he noted that the fresh capital would help accelerate expansion, strengthen technology capabilities, and support preparations for the upcoming IPO.
Square Yards today offers an integrated real estate platform that spans property discovery, transactions, home loans, interior design solutions, and property management services. The company’s growth trajectory reflects the increasing adoption of technology across the real estate sector and the demand for end-to-end solutions that simplify the home-buying and ownership journey.
With unicorn status now achieved and IPO plans underway, Square Yards enters its next stage with a stronger balance sheet, expanding business operations, and continued investments in technology-led innovation.
