Square Yards has raised $35 Mn (INR 312 Cr) in a funding round led by Smilegate VC, with participation from existing investors. The round values the company at a pre-money valuation of $900 Mn, marking a major step toward achieving a unicorn valuation.
The company is also in advanced talks to raise an additional $100 Mn through a mix of equity and debt—expected to propel Square Yards past the $1 Bn mark.
Accelerating Towards IPO
Square Yards is actively preparing for its planned INR 2,000 Cr IPO next year, with a targeted DRHP filing between December 2025 and March 2026. The IPO is expected to comprise an equal mix of fresh issue and OFS, while founders will continue to hold over 50% stake post-listing.
A Decade of Scaled Growth
Founded in 2014 by Tanuj Shori and Kanika Gupta Shori, Square Yards has grown into one of India’s largest integrated real estate and fintech ecosystems, spanning property search, financing, interiors, and property management. The company operates across India and global markets including the Middle East, Australia, and Canada.
Strong Financial Momentum
Square Yards reported INR 1,409.9 Cr revenue in FY25 with an EBITDA of INR 45.8 Cr. In H1 FY26, revenue surged 44% YoY to INR 833.2 Cr, alongside a positive EBITDA of INR 23 Cr, reversing last year’s loss.
With fresh capital and strong financial traction, Square Yards is poised for its next phase of growth as it steps confidently toward public markets.
