About Undri, Pune

Undri is located in South-East Pune, Maharashtra. PIN code of the area is 411060. The locality falls within the jurisdiction of the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA). The locality has earned a rating of 4.5/5. This area has evolved from a formerly quiet village into a lively residential suburb. Pisoli, Hadapsar, Handewadi and Kondhwa surround the locality. Residentially, Undri offers mid-segment apartments, plots and builder-floor homes.

These projects are from reputable developers such as Kolte‑Patil Developers Ltd., Goel Ganga Development and Mantra Properties. The locality ranks 68th out of 1158 localities. Undri’s appeal is further enhanced by its comparatively affordable pricing compared to older upscale suburbs. Being in the “merged area” of PMC (after the incorporation of adjacent villages) means some basics, such as water supply and road upkeep, are still catching up. If you are out in its market, you will find 228 new projects, 437 properties on sale, and 217 rental listings.

Infrastructure, Connectivity & Transport

Undri’s road network leans on NIBM Road, Kondhwa Road, and the Katraj–Hadapsar Bypass. Buses, autos, and app cabs are common choices for daily commutes. Pune Ring Road is officially underway in multiple segments, with construction in phases. Local upgrades, such as slope correction and widening on NIBM Road near Palace Orchard, are also in the works to ease bottlenecks.

The Pune Metro Purple Line already runs up to Swargate; its approved underground extension to Katraj is progressing through revised bids and budgeting. The additional stations (including Bibwewadi and Balajinagar) are now sanctioned. PMPML buses operate across Pune and extend into the southern belt. Water supply remains a known pain point across merged peripheral areas. And Undri has seen tanker dependence during dry spells. Residents and RWAs keep pressing PMC for network fixes.

How People Rate Undri

Undri has secured a score of 4.5 out of 5. The area showcases:

Young professionals often view Undri as a peaceful yet connected residential pocket. Its closeness to SP Infocity, Hadapsar, and Magarpatta means shorter commutes and less weekday travel fatigue. The availability of co-living spaces, gyms, cafes, and supermarkets around NIBM Road suits single tenants and new working couples.

Families appreciate the educational and healthcare network. The Bishop’s Co-Ed School, Delhi Public School, and Vibgyor High are major draws. Lifeline Hospital, Ruby Hall Clinic, Wanowrie, and Inamdar Multispeciality Hospital add convenience. Clean air, safety within gated communities, and community-based amenities also appeal to families with children and elderly members.

Investors consider Undri a developing but promising micro-market. Continuous infrastructure projects, such as the Ring Road and the upgrades to the Katraj–Hadapsar Bypass, are expected to drive capital appreciation. Investor reviews highlight stable tenant demand from IT employees working at nearby tech parks.

The lifestyle in the area is rated 4.1/5, livability 4.2/5, Connectivity 4.1/5, and Education & health 4.2/5.

Market Trends & Investment Potential

Sale prices in Undri sit in the mid-market band. The average sale price is ₹ 7,800/sq. ft. A practical working average is about ₹5,800–6,000 per sq ft across typical apartment stock. On the rental side, the average rental price is ₹ 23/sq. ft. It places the average monthly rent near ₹20,000 for mainstream societies in Undri. The spread reflects tower age, carpet size, and furnishing, with prices still moderate relative to inner-city hubs and leasing demand drawn from Hadapsar and SP Infocity. The micro-market continues to appeal to end-users and yield-focused buyers.

I enjoy my life here since the surroundings are quite new. Being close to my work and the neighborhood eateries makes me very happy. For kids with numerous nearby institutions, I believe it is rather practical. I struggle, though, with excessive construction dust and exceedingly poor public transportation access inside the area.

I have a flat in Undri, and my experiences are really excellent. For trips inside the city, I make use of the Swargate Metro. I recommend this region for families. Life is quiet with the Corinthians Club nearby. Narrow roads and dependency on the water tanker disgust me.

I advise my clients to give Undri first priority for its trees. My events demonstrate that families are free of harm. Being close to Dorabjee's Mall is really practical for me. My recommendations always bring attention to the outstanding local institutions. For better living, the limited highways and water system call for significant change.

Living as a tenant in Undri makes me very delighted. Here my experience is excellent because the surroundings are quite quiet and verdant. For my job at the nearby Hadapsar IT hub, I relocated here, and it is the best choice. Here are The Bishop's School and Hillgreen College, which appeal to me greatly. For health, I advise Satyanand Hospital, as it is rather dependable. Although the Swargate Metro is around 10 kilometres away, it is my primary link to the city. I travel on the local buses from Undri Gaon. My thought is that the rent is rather reasonable. I am quite troubled by the terrible road conditions and insufficient PMC water supply, though. Soon, I hope the government improves the interior roads.

I advise Majiwada as I think for families Thane West's most perfect starting point. Its advantageous placement near the intersection of Ghodbunder Road and the Eastern Express Highway is, in my opinion, a major benefit. For premier comfort, my recommendations always call attention to the proximity to Viviana Mall and Jupiter Hospital. Nearby, Singhania and CP Goenka are great institutions that citizens gain from. Well-lit roads and gated cities like Rustomjee Urbania make the neighbourhood very safe for women at night. A major victory for me is the 4–7% rental return. Still, I think the monsoon waterlogging and peak-hour traffic have to be much improved. This is a change in way of life.

My advice Undri since I believe families would find unsurpassed advantage in the fresh air and vegetation. Being near Hadapsar and NIBM makes it a particularly attractive location for those in the IT industry, in my opinion. I propose checking at the top schools here like Bishops and EuroSchool. I witness people taking simple drives along the Katraj-Kondhwa Road. Because of the active gated communities, I believe the neighbourhood is quite safe for women at night. Ruby Hall Clinic nearby for medical need. The great rent return for my investors delights me. Still, I believe the confined interior roads and intermittent water supply problems desperately require fixing. Investing here provides a breath of fresh air.

I really like my life in Undri since it seems like a tranquil hill station just inside Pune. As the Katraj-Hadapsar Bypass and NIBM Road make my trip very smooth, I have a fantastic connectivity experience. Because premier schools like Bishop's Co-Ed and Delhi Public School are just around the corner, and Lifeline Hospital is quite nearby for any medical needs. With high rental returns from IT experts employed in nearby Magarpatta and SP Infocity, my investment has completely repaid itself. But I actually believe we should provide a fast update for the small, uneven roadways and a long-lasting solution for reliance on the water tanker. For those who value both convenience and nature, living here is really a gift.

Positives: Here I find the rent somewhat reasonable. As I stay near Ruby Hall Clinic and the Hadapsar office hubs, my actual experiences are acceptable. The area has great green cover.

Negative

Negatives: But often, power outages, the absence of piped water, and the absence of a nearby shopping mall cause me problems.

Positives: My life in Undri is enjoyable. My building generates a 4% rental yield. For medical reasons, I visit Ruby Hall Clinic. Usually, I eat at The Corinthians Resort. Along NIBM Road, I have a simple commute.

Negative

Negatives: I abhor the dusty atmosphere and scarcity of a direct metro route. I need greater street lighting.

Positives: In Undri I am a small, happy renter. The prominent Corinthians Resort and dense green woods give this location its special character. Although not exactly centrally located, it is quite close to the SP Infocity and Magarpatta offices. My experience as a renter is adequate because the site is lovely and rents are relatively inexpensive as opposed to Kharadi. Though it's a bit far, I get to travel with the Swargate Metro stop. Ruby Hall Clinic and RIMS International School are among well-known nearby locations. I always go to Clover Hills Plaza for amusement.

Negative

Negatives: Although safety is usually excellent, I believe some locations close to the slopes are crime-ridden and need more police monitoring. Rather than trucks, I really require a straight PMC water connection.

Positives: I am a rather delighted owner at Undri. The great surroundings and clean air have helped to make my experience good. It seems Pune's limits constrain a hill station. I point out the Corinthian Club, which is perfect for entertainment. Every line of my stay here speaks for a high standard of living and relaxation.

Negative

Negatives: I do, though, need to point out a few underserved amenities. Better street lighting on the bypass roads is required for safety at night. The drainage system also has to be significantly enhanced to prevent waterlogging during rains. Finally, one misses the absence of a decent public library or community hub. All in all, it's a fantastic spot to live.

Positives: I'm a really happy owner here. In my opinion, Undri offers a quiet life with all within a small distance. Because schools such as DPS and EuroSchool are close by, this area is quite practical for me. Apollo Clinic is only minutes from emergencies. I adore how it is near to NIBM and Camp but apart from city sounds. With local buses, connectivity is excellent; however, I am still anticipating the Katraj Metro extension. For food and shopping, we sometimes visit Dorabjee's Heritage Mall.

Negative

Negatives: The daily congestion at Kad Nagar Chowk and the strong tanker need for water are my sole issues. These problems have to be addressed quickly.

Positives: A year ago I resided in Undri and adored the pure air there. The quiet life and vegetation of the place helped me to feel it was ideal. For my project, I found the connection to Magarpatta and Hadapsar IT centers rather beneficial. During my spare, I visited the nearby Katraj Lake's beautiful scenery or hung out at Dorabjee's Heritage Mall. In case of emergencies, my children went to Delhi Public School and we kept Inamdar Hospital available. My family found it to be a very secure environment.

Negative

Negatives: Conversely, the public transportation was awful and I fought without a car. The drainage system, in my opinion, called for immediate attention.
