Agra Smart City
Agra is a city in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is located on the Yamuna River in the Indo-Gangetic Plain, approx 200 kilometres southeast of Delhi. Agra is the fourth-largest city in Uttar Pradesh, with a population of approximately 1.6 million people. Agra is known primarily for its 17th-century Taj Mahal, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1983. It was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife, Mumtz Maal.
