Excessive flooding is a major problem in the area. The area is prone to flooding during the rainy season, especially in areas like Kaithammakunta and Meedhikunta. In the locality, the crossroads near IndusInd Bank lack streetlights. The debris and waste materials lying upon the IndusInd lane cause disturbance for pedestrians. The Malaka Cheruvu Lake remains choked with sewage and hyacinth growth, causing water logging problems.
