Compared to more expensive neighborhoods, the flat rental market is more sensible. That is an advantage. More dedicated waterfront or big park spaces right in the neighborhood for weekend relaxation is one thing I would like to see enhanced.

    The premium amenities and easy living brought me to this location. Close by, we have excellent facilities like St. Francis High School and Suchak Hospital. Buying at Infinity Mall is really practical. My everyday commute is made simple by the Malad train station, the Western Express Highway, and direct metro access. Connectivity is fantastic. Yes, the rents are on the higher side, but the shear ease completely justifies the expense, and I feel very safe here. My lone two recommendations are that, given the density of the area, it might seem a little congested, and I wish we had more dedicated, peaceful public parks for unwinding outdoors.

    The area is a good one to stay and budget-wise, there are more options. That’s what motivated my family to invest here some time back. Property appreciation has been decent, and we are mostly happy with the neighbourhood. The plus point is that the Marve Beach is about 20-25 minutes away from our home, which is a great place to relax and unwind in the evening. The Infiniti Mall is about 15 minutes away, and many other social amenities are also present.

    The distance to my office in Nariman Point is 1-1.30 hours on a good day, but I still wish that more connectivity improvements could be made to shorten the distance.

    Malad East is a good place to stay with your family. I personally find the area quite quaint and charming, with that classic Mumbaikar flavor. I am also pinning my hopes on the bypass road being developed and highway extension connectivity. The airport is not that far away, while the property rates are slightly better than the western side, which is older. Also, there are plenty of local stores and other necessities within a short walk from my home.

    Negative

    I only wish that the rush-hour traffic jams are solved with better traffic planning and management. That’s the only issue I have after staying here for some years.

    Positives: Malad East was my home for a time, and the great ease was the best benefit. Living near Malad Station and the Western Express Highway allowed easy access to the entire city. My flat's excellent rental demand was guaranteed by the close offices like Mindspace and the great metro access. Essential services were wonderful. Reaching Suchak Hospital or St. Francis School was always easy. It was really a linked foundation.

    Negatives: Especially at the evenings, I often encountered subpar air quality, which bothered me. Furthermore, the civic entity ignored cleanliness in the interior housing pockets off from the primary highway. I anticipated a superior effort on local waste management and greater city air quality going forward.

Nearby were markets, hospitals such as Suchak Hospital, and schools like St. George High School. Line 7's Dindoshi and Kurar Metro stations more strengthened relationships. Although not the most inexpensive area in Mumbai, the general comfortable living here felt like an amazing bargain.
