Many lanes in the surrounding locality of Shivajinagar face waterlogging issues moreover, during office hours it is sometimes challenging to get to places as the traffic the bottleneck is a regular occurrence. The area is very great and has good connectivity transportation wise with train, bus, and metro being easily available for use within close proximity to Shivaji Nagar.

Shivaji Nagar is located in serene and lush landscapes. The market, banks, and schools are close by. The position is convenient to the city, the camp, and the PCMC. It is also close to the Shivaji Nagar bus and train stations. Additionally, there are many bus routes. A short distance away is the well-known public garden known as Sambhaji Park. In addition, Shivaji Nagar's Jungli Maharaj Road is perhaps one of the nicest neighborhoods in Pune for homes.
