The Noida International Airport in Jewar is set to commence operations on March 28, with UP CM Yogi Adityanath extending an invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for its inauguration. This development is expected to significantly boost air connectivity in UP and contribute an estimated Rs 1 lakh crore to the state's economy. The airport has recently received its aerodrome license from the DGCA.

Approximately 7.8km of the new elevated corridor connecting Jewar Airport to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway passes through urban limits designated under the Faridabad Master Plan 2031. This decision to build an elevated stretch aims to accommodate planned high-density urban development and future infrastructure expansion in the area, potentially leading to increased residential and commercial activity.

A new 31-km-long, six-lane greenfield expressway is under construction to connect Faridabad with Noida International Airport in Jewar. Once completed, the travel time is expected to reduce to 15-20 minutes, significantly improving connectivity and boosting real estate growth in the region. The project is targeted for completion by April 2027.
