A new mini bypass will be constructed in Panipat, connecting Idgah Road in Model Town to Gohana Road. This project, costing Rs 5 crore, aims to significantly reduce traffic congestion on NH-44 and decrease travel time between Gohana Road and Assandh Road from over half an hour to an estimated 8-10 minutes.
