Vizag South is an Assembly constituency and one of the fastest growing regions in the city. Vizag South is home to several prominent residential areas. Vizag or Visakhapatnam is the largest city in Andhra Pradesh and also its prominent financial hub. It is also the headquarters for the Eastern Naval Command and is visited by large numbers of tourists annually for major landmarks like the Visakha Museum, INS Kursura Submarine Museum, Dolphin’s Nose Lighthouse, VUDA Park, Araku Valley and Matsyadarsini or Aquarium to name a few. Vizag is also home to the Dr. Ramanaidu Film Studio and India’s largest musical fountain. The Borra Caves are a popular tourist attraction in Vizag in addition to the Kambalakonda Wildlife Sanctuary and beaches like the Ramakrishna Mission Beach, Rushikonda Beach and Mangamaripeta Beach to name a few.

Vizag Developers Express Concerns Over Complex RERA Process

Real estate developers in Visakhapatnam are reportedly hesitant to fully comply with the RERA Act due to its complex procedures and certain 'unrealistic' clauses.
